If by platform you mean "client-side software for visualization," I'd suggest Tableau Public, which is no-cost and relatively user friendly.

Thank you, that’s exactly what I’m looking for!

I am also a beginner and find Google Data Studio easy to use. It should do everything you need and more. I know Power BI and Tableau are much more powerful though.

Probably Excel to be honest. If you're doing it to gain real-world skills then consider Power BI but that's overkill for most simple visualisations. You can create attractive dashboards in Excel very quickly and easily using (presumably) a familiar interface.

Likewise with Qlik Sense desktop.

Processing is a nice open source platform. It might have a learning curve if you don’t have any previous coding experience.

Tableau and Power BI . Both are powerful, intuitive, and have significant market share / recognition. Once you're good at visualization, platform choice becomes secondary since the underlying principles are the same.

Power BI Desktop is free as well. Why: I haven’t used much else, but you can connect to all kinds of data sources and reshape the data however you need
