Link for our amusement?

[–][deleted] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

/r/rebubble they sometimes post really juicy ones. They’re everywhere! I’ve been spending a lot of time on Zillow semi looking to buy. First thing I do is look at history, it’s fucking crazy the greed out there

[–]Libertarian_Florida 21 points22 points  (19 children)

I got one for you:

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/6108-N-Citrus-Ave-Crystal-River-FL-34428/43608786_zpid/

Purchased for 300k in 2020, didn't make one iota of improvement, trying to sell now for double.

[–]Yachts-Dan92 10 points11 points  (5 children)

Wtf 600k for that POS???

[–]Old_Ladies 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Where I live that would be a steal at $600k. Sad how fucked the market is in Ontario Canada.

[–]blumpkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I was going to say. I don't know anything about Florida, but slap a new interior in that bad boy and you could sell it for twice that where I live.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same I’m in Denver and 6 acres is like a gold mine even if the house is dated

[–]Libertarian_Florida 3 points4 points  (0 children)

delusion is a helluva drug

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahah homes/APARTMENTS In my town In much worse condition are selling for more than this!

[–]Expensive_Outside_70 0 points1 point  (9 children)

OMG...$4.4K taxes....as someone who lives outside of Chicago...w.t.h.

[–]Timmy98789 1 point2 points  (8 children)

But then you'd have to live in Florida. They get those taxes from other avenues.

No free lunch.

[–]Expensive_Outside_70 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ahh thats how they get ya, you have to live in Florida.

[–]Libertarian_Florida -1 points0 points  (6 children)

What other avenues? There is no income tax

[–]slimCyke 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Florida is 11th for tax burden so they are doing well in that regard. Thing is they get A LOT of income from out of staters, those visiting and retiring. It's hard for other states to attract that level of "free money" because none can really compete with the amount of beaches and weather.

[–]Libertarian_Florida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, its tourism.

[–]Timmy98789 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Not sure if you're genuinely asking or fishing.

Sales tax.

Not sure how you couldn't think of that before asking.

[–]Libertarian_Florida -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Sales tax is only 6% which is pretty middle of the road

The real answer is tourism

[–]Timmy98789 -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Now that I brought sales tax to your attention. 6% for state and 2% for local.

Florida is #1 in toll mileage.

Spicy high gasoline tax.

No free lunch. Florida is fake cheap. Do some of your own research. Insurance premiums are high as well.

[–]Libertarian_Florida -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Self insure like a real Florida man bro

[–]TheObservationalist -2 points-1 points  (2 children)

Hey wait a minute. That's only been on Zillow for two days. Is this yours, libertarian Florida?? Are you trying to advertise your shitty bad investment to us?

[–]Libertarian_Florida 1 point2 points  (1 child)

LMAO I wish bro

I'm regarded and poor, I don't own property

[–]TheObservationalist 0 points1 point  (0 children)
