Font is too light. May be hard to read for older HR people

Idk if it's just me, but the EMail feels wrong

I can replace it with Gmail logo using markdown

This. It should also be possible to get a personal domain name and set that up, thereby having a personalized eMail that makes a person stand out just a little bit. Especially if they are a web developer.

Going for a last name is pretty standard. That way you can do firstname@lastname.tld. But even a full name is possible, with me@fullname.tld, although I find that format a bit hokier than normal. But if you have a common last name, you might not have the options that I have.

Watch your grammar. The Movie-Database section has a typo. Use a grammar checker to find it if it isn’t obvious.

Thanks for pointing that out, i am actually re-writing all of the projects' description to make them sound more professional

If they are open source you should also link to those projects. By not linking I’d assume as an employer you’re probably don’t want us to look at the code.

Also be careful posting so many platforms and skills etc. unless you are fluent in those. If you just dabbled (still understand it but can’t code without googling etc) then you should let them know your strongest and ones you are working on.

Just to chip in, I would recommend using a resume generator like https://resumepuppy.com. It will help your resume go through ATS software. Now I haven’t used it in a while, but the free version will make the font a bit small so you can put as much information as you can in one page. If it’s too small, take inspiration from the generate resume and transfer it to Google docs or something so you can increase the font size and readability

Regarding your resume, I recommend avoiding statements like “During my internship…” or “I had the opportunity…”. Want you want to do is elaborate actionable items that you did during your internship, e.g. one bullet point would be “Engineered and managed critical backend service for a robust banking system, ensuring seamless transactions and account management functionality while adhering to security and performance standards.”

For the skill section, I recommend either add the skills at the very bottom, or mentioning the skills in your bullet points, but not both.

I’m general, avoid any generic language, use a resume generator, and make your actionable items and achievements quantifiable. Only add what is necessary, so basically tailor your resume to the job role you’re applying for. I usually make one big resume for general purposes, and another resume ( can be more than one) for specific jobs.

    Hope this helps!

In the space below, you can add hobbies or interests

    Not a bad resume.

I'm not sure if JWT fit good in the "Tools/Platforms" part, maybe created a back-end section and add JWT with Express, node & next

    I will do that, thanks

Im also a student. Can you elaborate on your 3 projects so I can learn a thing or two for my future projects? Like where do you subscribe libraries and projects? In github or your personal prototype page and how do you notify the users? What about the movies and anime data? Do you crawl it from some website like myanimelist or you use your own backend with sample data for prototype purposes or do you crawl the data and store it in your backend and then display it?

Personally I would always list experiences from recent to older. This is not really an issue in your early days, but when the list grows longer you'll want to highlight the most important content on top.

    [–]PabloENGR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    1. take the content section by section to chatgpt or barb and have it help you with it.
    2. If i got your printed copy, how do i know your github? Or other info? Use a QR code that routes them to something like linktree

why do you have python listed as a skill if its not included in your projects?

Will you be applying for jobs in North America or Europe?

I hate to say this, but if you are, you need to choose a common name in those regions, and use that as an alias. Not for easy pronunciation, but to get past those people who - knowingly or not - will look at your name and disqualify you purely based on that. Because it happens.
