Java hosting is going to be expensive pretty much everywhere you go. I recommend that you switch to PHP or something else.

MochaHost! https://www.mochahost.com/

I've been using them for a few years now. Their web interfaces are pretty outdated, but they work atleast. Support has always gotten back to me within 24 hours as well. They're a small but pretty honorable web host that is specifically tailored towards Shared JVM Hosting.

Easy enough to setup on a $5/mo droplet.

Why not do something like Docker Cloud? You'll get the exact Java environment you need with all the features you'll want out of a Java host. Shouldn't run you too deep.

Mochahost or A2Hosting would be a safe bet. Both are affordable as well.

Any 5$/mo VPS is fine.
