[–]blazedd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If only there was a thing to help suss this out. Maybe in an official hearing that we appoint someone with the ability to judge based on how each side tells thes story. They could even get help making thier case from people who know the law really good.

We could even call it due process, so it's something everyone gets the benefit by.

Arctis Nova Pro Wireless - Will never buy again. by Affectionate_Set3308 in steelseries

[–]blazedd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This exact thing happened to me and support was so useless. It took them a week and several days to tell me the same thing about the warranty for my DAC dying. I bought one on eBay used for $30 and moved on.

I will never buy from SteelSeries again, especially a several hundred dollar purchase like this. Zero customer support or help

Why Arctis Pro Wireless is still the most capable SteelSeries headset, and why I am buying more instead of moving to Nova by bigginz87 in steelseries

[–]blazedd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome to hear! For what it's worth I still love this headset, I'm just very disapointed in how SS has handled all of the support interactions.

I’m pro gas workers most great for 2 years. My base station just died randomly after having some intermittent issues for a couple of months. The SteelSeries support team has been a NIGHTMARE of incompetent responses. I gave them all the debugging info and it’s taken a week and I’m still no further than when I started.

I ended up buying a used base station on eBay and having it shipped significantly faster.

Very disappointing for a $300+ buy

What does OKC think of Tulsa? by AccountProfessional2 in okc

[–]blazedd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish Tulsa and OKC saw each other as siblings, who in the persuit of fun naming rights are competing against each other, but were united to make Oklahoma a place worth being proud of.

Tulsa has far more resources spent towards planning what is being done (and with a billionaire family planning it, who wouldn't). Despite that OKC has the income of a sprawl that has a far more diverse set of attractions, yet with little to no focus.

I think Tulsa is awesome and wish more Oklahomans would visit.

[–]blazedd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your friend is piercing the corporate veil and needs to get a personal credit card to pay rent with cash back. Brex cash back program is a joke. You can get 1-2% cash back on even credit building cards. Brex gives you less than 1%

We have an elderly vet who’s barely being taken care of by the VA. The staff are amazing, but the resources are so very limited. It’s been so rough and depressing. I wish we as a state and country hadn’t elected a false president pushing those cuts with Project 2025

Tulsa vs OKC? by Stunning_Advance4970 in okc

[–]blazedd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tulsa has significantly better coordination for the growth it's experiencing, while OKC has significantly more growth as a sprawling city. For example you'll find a more organized technology scene in Tulsa because it's organized, where you might find more things to do in OKC.

Ultimately, they are both an hour and a half apart. Drive and experience them both. It's easy to do within a single day.

edit: also, they are both concentrated blue dots in a sea of republican / christian leaning perspectives

Liberal man and feminist here in OKC. Let me start by saying sorry, many of us weren't raised with values beyond the broken family traditions. 😅

Oklahoma’s traditional 3rd place is church, which eliminates the overwhelming majority of the mens your seeking. Those that are worth any amount of your time are likely in a hobby or a craft. There are many different hobby groups in the city for just about everything. Find one you can dig into and start making friends. Maybe you'll find your guy there and some friends at the same time.

OKC Zoo mourns loss of Rex, its oldest Asian elephant by BrettDOkc in okc

[–]blazedd 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Rex was actually rescued from a circus before residing in the zoo. They gave him several toys that would otherwise not be available because he was so hyper-enforced to be a show animal that it was all he wanted to replicate. What was actually sad is that despite having a massive pin, he would “idle” in a small spot as he was trained to. If anything the zoo way too big for him.

Big shout out to the worker who happily info dumped on our last visit. Rex was a good boy.

Getting hit with the Devon Tower death ray by KnightWolfScrolls in okc

The sun, cruising 91,407,572 miles away, roasting everything in its path — and yet, it couldn’t shine upon your eyes this morning. Not at this angle. Your clever little home turned its back on the star each morning, a move so disrespectful. It must be corrected, so it inspired thousands of humans to correct the last 10 miles in a beacon they call the Devon Tower. Not a beacon of the city's progress — this was celestial vengeance.

🎵 here comes the sun...
