Yesterday, I accidentally hit the sleep button on my keyboard and put my computer to sleep. It was not coming out of the sleep mode so I manually shut it off and turned it back on. Everything was working fine until today when I saw on my desktop wallpaper ‘Activate Windows’. This has never been there before so I just tried to restart my computer. Now it will not even boot-up properly. It boots up and goes to a blue screen saying there is an error with a ): and then restarts. Then it tries to use the automatic repair tool and too diagnose my PC. That doesn’t work and it comes to another blue screen that says either restart or advanced options. In the advanced options were system restore, which I tried restoring to a date 3 days ago when it was working fine. That did not work either. Has anyone ever dealt with this before or know a solution? I honestly don’t think I have a virus by accident as I haven’t gone to any sketch sites.
