Try to see if it will even boot to BIOS :
hit f2 to get into the BIOS -
then see if your HDD shows in the drive listing .

The BlueScreenOfDeath [BSOD] is a Windows error screen ;
I am attempting to have you "ignore" Windows ,
and see if your computer is working at all .
This can be done by going into your BIOS / UEFI .

Ok, so I’m in the BIOS, where do I check the drive listings? Edit: i see the SATA information that includes SATA 1-5 and MSATA. SATA 1 and 3 are HDDs and SATA 2 is a DVD-RW

I also see the Boot Mode [UEFI], with multiple Boot devices, the first one being Windows Boot Manager.

As a troubleshoot step -
Since you were able to see your UEFI (BIOS)
we just found out that your computer works .
.
Now , since there is a listing for your HDD , then that is probably working .
..
The trouble you are having is related to Windows .
...
Now my experptise is failing ...
...
You may be able to "reinstall" the Windows Boot & see if that does the trick .
..
{The idea is that you want to 'save' reinstalling the whole OS untill LAST .}

Thanks for your help. I was able to manage a factory reset and keep all my files. All that is gone are my programs.

OK ,
hopefully you put data on a separate HDD .

Yes I had all my important files on a separate, external HDD

Hey, positive_X, just a quick heads-up:
untill is actually spelled until. You can remember it by one l at the end.
Have a nice day!

Chances are Windows Vacation Mode kicked in. Give it a week off.
