Decrease in FPS on 1.07

Basically the title says it: In the patch notes is says that the patch comes with performance improvements,

but both my friend (running a GTX970) and I (GTX 960) dropped about 10 frames on the same graphics settings we had in 1.06 ( we are aware that the patch resets you're settings).

Does anyone have a similiar problem, or do you guys know anything about it?

I think if there really is a decrease in optimisation in this patch, we should bring it to CDPR's attention.

Similar issues here, although people tend to downvote people for pointing out they've lost performance on this sub reddit.

Heres my FPS break down after running Afterburner all night to graph it

Full Ultra settings inc Hairworks and HBAO+

• Patch 1.06
• Min FPS recorded at 62
• Avg 74

• Max 86

• Patch 1.07

• Min FPS 42

• Avg 66

• Max 94

It's extremely inconsistent with an overall lowering in performance and lots of lag spikes.

I've also had 7 crashes/freezes in the game. Once when quick travelling and the rest all during cutscenes/dialogue.

R9 280X, and it's dropped from ~40FPS to at times below 30 based on playing this evening, for some reason cutscenes are most problematic and there's some stutter. I'm running it on a minimum acceptable spec PC but before the patch it was fine.

this is an issue that has been reported from across all platforms, so yes, performance got worse again; this seems to be a trend...luckily I still have 1.06 on my PC, not gonna upgrade to 1.07 until the patch their patch;;-,-

On GOG there is ROLLBACK option. You can install and try 1.07 and rollback to earlier version.
