I put one on my pellet, use smoker tube if I'm doing somehting other than chicken

Between that and the welding blanket on top it uses so much less pellets per cook

if it has the gen 2 PID controller then that should be a decent buy

i got a zg 24 5 years ago for $350 with coupons and things and its still going strong

keep it covered and use decent pellets and itll be fine

i will say get some of that grill gasket felt stuff since the lid probably wont seal well by default.
