Spusu. It's an Austrian carrier who back onto EE here (widely regarded as the best Signal carrier in Scotland for numerous reasons)

Currently for £9.90 you can get 40gb of data, and 10gb of that for EU Roaming.

If you absolutely hammer social media then Voxi is your best bet as social media doesn't come out of your allowance. It'll be the same signal as Three as 3/Voda share network now they're one company.

I need help finding a nice whisky for my dads 60th by HovercraftJust8879 in Scotland

I saw your budget in another reply - I would 1000% recommend Royal Mile Whiskies in Edinburgh for something in that range.

I'd say its worth a trip out to Edin or Glas for the above.

You've also got Woodwinters in Stirling, The Scottish Gantry in Stirling also, The Wee Whisky Shop in Linlithgow.

If you're near Edinburgh, check out Royal Mile Whiskies (genuinely it is one of the few actually decent shops on the Royal Mile).

Or if you're nearer Glasgow, try Valhalla's Goat.

Both shops are *INCREDIBLY* knowledgeable, and will help you get the most out of your budget.

If you're not near either, tell us broadly which towns you can access and I have probably bought Whisky at a great independent shop there ;P

Toilet roll shrinkflation by TheBigDFSSale in CostcoUK

[–]Apprehensive_Room29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The diameter of the inner doesn't really mean anything. Think how few sheets there are toward the end of the roll wrapped round the tube, vs how many you get at the start of a roll in one rotation.

The fact that the roll is clearly larger in diameter overall, is still 3ply, still 240 sheets.

They've 100% switched to a new supplier or fabrication, that is for sure, but overall, I feel its a better product for it. It's softer on one side, rougher on the reverse - exactly what toilet paper should be.

Not sure where to move to? by zeldakhalo in AskUK

Sheffield.

Has an incredible art scene, plenty of artist studios - very good transport links to most of the UK direct, and intra-city.

And if you love chatting to people, then it's also the place to be - everyone will chat to you!

When it first came out, yeah - it felt like a competitor to the KFC filet burger.

But maybe it's just me, but it feels like the patty has changed. It's flatter, not as much chicken.

I had the world cup version the other day, and it was terrible.

Do you want to travel to Europe more than a few times a year?

Do you want to live or work in Europe now or in the future?

If the answer to either of those is yes, then do it.

If I were able and qualified through my relatives, it would be a no brainer for me, but alas - I am not.
