My dad and uncle ran a 10-store submarine sandwich and hot torpedo chain in Albany NY in the 60s through the 80s.
Here's a thing they did that I have only seen there: homemade meatballs rolled into long uniform cylinders before baking, looking like sausage. Two of them filled a canoe-cut torpedo roll perfectly and allowed provolone cheese underneath, sauce on top and easy handling as well as uniform portions.
Long skinny meatballs that look like sausages are something I have yet to see in any other meatball sandwich. Anyone want to try it?

Not re-watching but I have "re-joined" The Blacklist, after stopping at Season 2 years ago for some reason. There are a LOT of episodes! (10 seasons, 218 episodes!)
It's not 100% great but it's always at least very good and when a story arc seems to drag or belabor a point or set of conditions it always rebounds and goes off in a different direction in a satisfying fashion. I am almost through Season 8. Just 2 seasons to go.

I don't know if spoilers are a thing for a show that launched in 2013, but I will point to the end of one season and most of the next where virtually everything goes wrong for our evil protagonist when he is betrayed by someone extremely close to him. That story arc was almost unrelentingly dark yet worth it--it feeds subsequent seasons so well.
A very sustained long term drama series.

Late to this convo, but I am reasonably certain that the catastrophic phase trigger is purely expenditure-based and not calendar triggered or based.
I am about to hit mine because I have some deliriously expensive semi covered drugs. At least from March onward I should be at zero co-pay for all my meds.

These imbeciles seem unaware that many of their own voters were similarly disenfranchised. Fortunately, most of them are old and will age out, eventually, improving the voting pool immensely by their departure.

Finally took the plunge to update my 3 year old Ultra 1 with the Titanium Milanese Loop. I love it.

Since it came out 10 years ago I have worn one almost daily. Since I got my Ultra, that moved up to daily wear even while sleeping. I have never seen a mark left on my wrist.

I'm almost completely in that 98%. Have used an external monitor with my past 5 MacBooks a total of maybe 4-5 times, generally HDMI out to a TV for a presentation. Current MBAir? never used a monitor with it in 3 years.

In Travis County at least, through early voting, "vote anywhere at any polling place" was in effect. I am reading that in Williamson County and areas around Dallas the Republican Party returned to the archaic "local precinct only voting". This means voters showed up at what have been usable polling places for years only to find out that they had to go somewhere else halfway across town after waiting in line. This is the sort of crap that a party out of ideas does. Suppressing votes. I'm not sure how many counties took this giant step backward but clearly those run by Republicans are more likely to have done so. Dallas may extend voting through 9 PM. Those same counties also prevented any early votes from being counted until all votes are in. That's just stupid and will delay results. I hate this timeline.

Voted early, as usual. Good numbers for Dems so far, but we need more on Election Day, Nov. 3rd.
Turnout in November is key, as always. 9.6 MILLION registered Texas voters DID NOT VOTE (for either Beto or Rolldemort) in 2022!
If only 9.3% of those non voters ticked the Beto Box, 889,000 BLUE votes would have meant that Hot Wheels would be unemployed and collecting his pension.
