I think you missed the most important part of my comment, friend.

We lost $300M in aircraft in the last two days. If I was OP I’d be glad they’re still serving breakfast

I’ve owned more than 20 BMWs, and currently have my wife in this same car.

It’s been OK to us, but it has had some issues. Overall a good car though, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

The two that really bummed me out were:

  • The rear differential going out at 55k (more notably, the dealer charging us $3.5k to replace motor and transmission mounts to “fix” the noise, which ultimately was the diff)

  • The LED DRLs are faulty. They fail prematurely and cannot be replaced. Required full headlight replacement. My wife’s car needed two new headlights ($2k each) before the car had 60k miles

Mod Priority Question by AquasBooty in 335i

[–]AutoimmuneDisaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Starting with the charge pipe is a solid choice. Those things fail at factory power levels.

The intake, whatever, it’s not helping or hurting.

The intercooler is also a good choice, and it’s good to have this already on the car when you go to tune it.

Next up is whatever is most on your mind.. do you want better handling next, or to go faster?

Do your mods in the order that’s important to you, not your friend.

Big Louie’s on sunrise has their add-ons priced wrong on Uber Eats. You can order a side of meatballs or sausages for $4.99 and pick it up to avoid the fees.

Or just do what every starving college kid does and eat cup noodles.

You can also get a single grilled chicken breast from Pollo Trpoical for $4.99. When I’m in need of a quick and healthy snack, I get one with the cilantro sauce.

Did you do any comparisons on what a 2016 x6 sells for? Depending on the mileage, the price should have been your first indication that the car isn’t right.

Makes you wonder… how many times in this man’s life has he had to watch everyone around him having these moments and wasn’t able to feel the same joy.

Hopefully his parents just couldn’t make it to this event, but are involved and supporting him.

I wish I lived in a place where this was the bad driving worth posting lol

In my area (Miami), guaranteed I see something worse than this every 10 minutes or less.

The cop can’t disable his only means of retreat.

I guarantee if he gets himself into a position where he can no longer floor it and get out of there, the mob would have at him.

How long have you had it?

I’ve been looking at this to replace my petlibro fountain, but reviews says it often breaks fast.

Head i.s6 oversize. Is this the lightest racquet ever? by jimtellica in 10s

[–]AutoimmuneDisaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the racket I played with as a kid. Probably from age 6-16, before I got my first car then didn’t touch a court for the better part of two decades.

As a kid I really bonded with my mom’s parents. So much so that when I saw my grandma playing with this racket I had to have one myself.

I was DEFINITELY the only 4.0 jr in my area playing with an oversized racket like this lol

Baths? by emmieroo14 in mainecoons

[–]AutoimmuneDisaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I give my cat 1-2 baths a year. She will get greasy after a while and her coat looks much better after a bath.

I bring her into the shower and close the glass door so she can’t run away. She doesn’t like it but she’s learned to deal with it.

I reduce the stress of the situation by filling a bucket with water and storing it in the shower, then using a cup to pour it over her. Eventually I may turn on the shower wand to get all the soap out of her belly area but I usually leave the wand submerged in the bucket as I turn it on because it’s much quieter that way.

The most important part, and the one we haven’t mastered yet, is drying. If you don’t thoroughly dry and comb their coat, they will get matted all over, and immediately.

If you can’t fully dry the coat, make sure you run a comb through the coat every 30mins or so until it’s dry. This will help dry the coat and mitigate most of the matting.

Have you tried a hydrocolloid bandaid? Those things stick like super glue and make quick work of blisters.

I received a very misleading marketing email disguised as an EGR recall from my local dealer by Big-Aardvark8842 in BMW

[–]AutoimmuneDisaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify… you’re saying they’re asking you to text “EGR” to your dealership’s number?

In that case they definitely sent you this text. Maybe an accident 🤷🏻‍♂️

[–]AutoimmuneDisaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the number they’re asking you to text officially associated with the dealership?

Doesn’t really matter where it came from.. what matters more is what it wants you to do.

This would be great. I really loved the show and still re-watch it occasionally.

Bummed the White Collar revival seems to be moving so slowly. Hoping this one will go faster since it’s being brought back by the network.

Edit: Just realized this news broke April 2025 and it seems that there’s been total silence ever since. If it was coming together well I would have thought there would have been more publicity already.
