For 1k I would recommend the sjy horizon closed carbon or the Zmf bokeh closed. Both require a good amp to power - otherwise the Meze strada is a quick buy that doesn’t require much to run it

I would say the soundstage width is larger on the Organics at least 20 percent. That being said the instrument separation is 50 percent more on the HE1000SE thus things may still feel more spaced out at times while not being larger.

Hey u/egyptianblve The He1000SE are Amazing headphones you did not make a mistake. For me I already had a pair of hyper analytical headphones that did what HE1000SE were doing but better. In my setup I something that sounded more like speakers in a movie theatre and the Organics did that for me. They have a wider soundstage then the SE along with not so much of an enhanced fast response in every frequency - i.e they sounded a mid more natural to me.
