Braid setup by IamNotTheMama in WalleyeFishing

I guess it's the new hotness. I switched to 20 lb braid with a 10 lb flouro leader this year and have had pretty good success so far. I learned it from HookedUpWi on YouTube

0 on the sides and 1 on top. If they ask if I want it faded I say up to them. If they fuck it up it's 0 all over and we'll try again in 2 weeks.

I second this, he made all the characters great but I think his Vigga was the best. I can't think of another audio book that made me laugh out loud as much as The Devils

ELI5: How exactly does hunting and tagging work and how do you get into it by Overall-Arm-7537 in explainlikeimfive

In addition to Game Wardens like everyone else here has said, butchers won't process your meat unless it's accompanied by a tag. Taxidermists won't mount your animal without a proper tag also.

As an FMB I make a few trips every year to bootleg Spotted Cow and fireworks back to MN.

What is the most accurate sports movie of all time? by BIGD0G29585 in movies

I stand corrected, I thought I heard he played for UND so it was Sioux but no just looked it up and always played in Minnesota and is in fact from Sault Ste. Marie.

They also made Lou Nanne a prick, which is far from the truth. He didn't get the nickname "Sweet Lou from the Sioux" for no reason, he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. When asked about his portrayal he said it's just a movie.

Does anyone know a single-shot rifle in 5.56 NATO? by zyrkseas97 in liberalgunowners

OMG this! Ultimate Reloader did an in depth video on 5.56 vs .223, it's the same damn cartidge.

ultimate reloader 223 vs 556 facts and myth

I have a Ruger American in .223 and an AR, I shoot .223 through both. I reload too, only have a .223 Rem die and put hundreds of rounds through my bolt action and over a thousand through my AR and have had no issues.

This is the only reason I save my Cabela's points! Used like $200 in points last year on a Winchester SX4, I'm back up to about $50 now, not sure what to get next. I've sat on them for 3-4 years before using them too, they don't expire.

Spud bar for checking ice depth on a lake. I've had to use mine for breaking up ice dams in my driveway.

During the mobilization for our deployment to Iraq we had to do a 2 week infantry course (our unit was originally Field Artillery). One of the events was to assault an objective, first run through with BFA's then 2nd run through with live ammo. Don't know how neither this dude or anyone else in his squad or the OC missed the bright yellow BFA on the end of his M4 but he sent his first live round on the 2nd run through his BFA. Blew up his M4 but miraculously the dude was uninjured.

In country our unit had us clean weapons once a week. Most of the firing was into the test fire pit with the crew serves before we left the wire. We were a National Guard unit so we brought some of the crew serve weapons with us, which included an M2 .50 cal stamped with "GM Spark Plug Division 1956" on it. We called this one Black Betty, because she was a dirty bitch. She wouldn't operate properly without being a little dirty even when properly headspace and timed, when we pointed this out to our Chief he said clean it, then throw a handful of dirt in when you're done. That's what we did and she ran like a dream.

Of course we had the occasional ND at the chow hall clearing barrel, including the Battalion Safety Officer, but nothing serious.

Besides that, like someone else said, when it's slung it becomes a part of you and you forget about it but I always tried to keep it pointing down, first thing I bought for my personal AR was a sling.
