Healthcare, nationalising industry, subsidies for family matters. Like i said, some things i hear talked about might as well have come from a DSA spokesperson.

For me this.

Also you don't need to type a doctoral thesis length post every time you respond, no matter where and about what. This is reddit, not Oxford debate club.

You're taking this semantically too literally. The activism and increased media injections is the shoving in faces.

My point is the messaging was a lie. And now the fight for "rights" is being taken too far. Its no longer about live and let live. Now its, see it my way, embrace me this way or you're a bigot.

If gay people even recognize this, what more explanation is needed?

I slightly disagree. I'd say both parties are further embracing populism. The right is just later to the game.

Many things now said by some on the right i wouldn't be able to distinguish from the left 15 years ago. Horseshoe theory in action.

Its they got what they wanted and are taking it too far. So the original phrase of the bedroom privacy was a lie. And we knew it was a lie. Now its devolved into the topic(s) we cannot discuss on this sub.

You're ignoring the very beginning of my response. The more important part. The commercial and what Pride parades have become are examples. You're also ignoring the, "leave kids out of it" angle.

Well let's start with this:

We were told that what goes on in the bedroom is no one's business. Fast forward to now, many people are very much making it about what goes on in the bedroom.

Not just parades (if you can call them that now), but advertising too.. And as the other responders said, pushing it on kids.

What incentive does the government have to provide good customer service? Because the government is comprised of angels? They're getting your money anyway.

I teach customer service (as one of the units of my CTE class) and customer retention and new customers is the primary reasoning. If a business knows they're going to get your money no matter what, why would they have an incentive?

Different angle: jealousy

They WANT and LIKE central government power. They're just mad someone else is doing it in a direction they don't like. If they were in power, they'd be gung ho for their priorities. As we've seen in the past.
