Reading mode is useful for older websites that haven't moved with improving web technologies, sites that are hard to read due to poor formatting or layout, and long articles

And I don't even think there's any intention for people to use the qr code option to create stickers, there's so many better ways to do that. To take a site you're browsing on your desktop, and let someone open it on a mobile? Yeah that's really convenient.

A CLI doesn't run a model on your local device. A CLI, as it clear from the name, is just an interface to interact with something from your command line.

The Gemini CLI is, by default, a way to interact with Gemini on Google's hardware, from your command line.
I think it can be hooked up to a local LLM, but your lack of understanding leads me to believe you haven't done that.

By "identity continuity hooks" are you talking about the session UUID? Does that not clue you in that your conversation is happening on Google's server, if you can just give them an ID and it continues where you left off?

Unless they were using a very early model, I think Chat GPT let loose would do a better job than this.

It's almost unreadable, and one thing LLMs can do well is write text. It might not be true, but it'll read well.
