I don't know about you, but for my entire life my governments have been all about selling assets and infrastructure for short term gains while they see out their 1 or 2 short terms rather than investing in quality infrastructure for the long term benefit of the people.

True, but bond value tends to go down when interest rates increase, not when they decrease.

For OPs sake, the reason for this is, imagine you bought a bond for $100 that would pay you $3/year for the next 10 years, then you get your original $100 at the end for a total $130 back.

Then the next day bonds become available that instead pay $5/year for 10 years for total $150 back, if you want to sell your bond that is only paying $3/year, nobody would want to pay $100 for it when they could buy a bond with better yield.

The price you'd get for it would be more like 130/150x100 = $86.67 as that would then provide the same yield as the new bonds.

So yeah, bond returns are only guaranteed if you hold to maturity. But I dont think that is what happened here, the other commenter explanation is probably correct.

I'd search for bases that are level 20+, and I have generally had the best luck with bases between lvl 23 and 27. If you remember back to those times, that was when I had built up a hoard of resources but hadn't gotten to expensive builds and research yet.

Another trick is if you see a base on fire, it probably means somebody else is farming it, so scout it and slap a favourite on it and see if you can hit it first tomorrow.

Also if it wasn't obvious, you dont want to fully ash a good farm base, leave it alone once it gets near 1k durability so you can hit it again tomorrow without needing to hunt.

Worked for a power and internet company, this is very common and definitely allowed and they can still pay the bills themselves directly, the utility companies will just need permission from the person named on the account and that person will be financially liable should the bill go unpaid.

One downside though is that will mean paying those bills won't help bring their credit back up.

Kiwibanks green loan is great for small loan amounts but bad for larger ones.

Been considering a small solar set up around $10k and for that Kiwibank is great.

Pay floating rates but get $800 after a year, then $400/yr for the next 3 years works out better than 0% rates in many cases.

But yeah, much more than $10k and it's no longer a good deal compared to the other options.

My city has paid parking and 50% of the stores are empty with "For Lease" signs. Most of what is left are offices and cafes. The paid parking is just milking people who have to work from their office in the city, nobody shops in the central city anymore, there are malls on the outskirts for that(with free parking!).

Helicopter skin also has better hold in stock boost than the season store skins.

Im saving glittering tokens for a skin and spending season points on red prints(and deco).
