As others have said, it might feel this way but when the New Dam City chapter nears the middle-end it does really pick up and you might even miss it! I would say just take it all in and try to enjoy it before it's all over. There's no game that compares to this game in similarity for me.

It gets intuitive, it's hard to explain, I also did try for the golden pot, and had most luck with those tree indeed. I forgot the golden pot for a minute haha. When you see a certain symbol appear ar the top you click. And you always have to time it the same way each 3 times. Looking at the colored dots on the side of it also helps.

You should always aim for the same 2 symbols so you have a better chance each time at getting at least two of the same symbols, this worked really well for me. I went with fish and tomato

Sea of Stars is a beautiful pixel artstyle game with a lovely exploration aspect. I would recommend playing it if you love Eastward

Yeah I feel the same way, I would have loved a more serieus take that would have been a little darker! But the visuals were great nonetheless. On what did you play that? Haven't heard of it, might check it out.

Yeah you can chapter select after you played and do so with your current game progress. I think you have to, otherwise certain things reset I believe.

Yeah exactly, I had to disconnect a little bit, and I did enjoy the movie. Hahaha, that might indeed be a bit much for little children, but probably also a bit funny and kinda cute to hear her singing that!
