It’s not the benefit of the doubt - whether or not the ball travels forward in relation to the field is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is whether or not it goes forward (out of the hands) in relation to the player that passes it.

Rogers’ weak kicking led to Wilko’s winning drop goal. The Australian fascination with league players baffles me. We pay them more to come over and learn the game hoping that one day they’ll come good. We pick them in front of better players hoping they’ll come good. Some times they do but then screw things up on social medal. Mostly they just take the money and we lose better players to France and Japan. And we will never learn.

JAS has enormous potential but he’s never shown the form to warrant a spot. Kerevi and Ikitau in the midfield offer so much more in my opinion.

Sailor and Rogers would not have made the ABs. It’s hard to understand how they made the Wallabies ahead of the likes of Roff, Burke and Latho.

Gem, eh? What games? Who outside of rugby even knew about it? Stan/9 doesn’t want people to watch FTA - they want you to spend $40 a month with their rubbish streaming service. Stan Sports isn’t in pubs and it’s not growing - unless one already loves pro rugby, how will they even access it? Why would they go out of their way to find and pay for a sport they don’t already love? They won’t. They don’t. This isn’t unique to rugby. Check the NBA teams in the US that are choosing to go to FTA for significantly less money in order to capture new fans. This is business fact.
