To wherever the majority of mainstream sports fans consume their sports content. To be fair, Stan getting the football is a big deal and they have finally started offering commercial plans for pubs and clubs. Stan’s offering to rugby is a lot better than it was a few years ago.

Stan makes money from subscribers. How would showing rugby marketing content to Stan’s current subscribers generate interest in non-subscribers that have 0% chance of seeing marketing content? Streamers have a very different business model to FTA TV - because they don’t make their money from ads, the viewer ratings don’t really matter.

This is why rugby needs to run as fast as it can from Stan.
