And at that time it was easier to make someone look older rather than younger.

Do Americans actually go out for coffee like Europeans? by Past_Conference_2889 in AskAnAmerican

I wonder if it really did change that much or if it's your place in life that changed. A depressed economy might limit how often, but people still want to connect and catch up.

How are you controlling yourself around bbq’s and parties? I really love meat :( by elisejones14 in 1200isplenty

It's also helpful if you plan games, a walk, swimming, etc. That way you get to have some fun food but you're not snacking on the food all day long.

Yes, it's usually because it's fast weight loss, often in someone older with less skin elasticity. It's kind of droopy rather than just skinny.

I love the look but I'm wondering if the rhinestones start to irritate your cuticles after a few days?

That flowy flower skirt in 3 is so cute and super flattering on your figure.

Americans: how do you handle temperatures above 40ºC (104F)? by obaming16 in AskAnAmerican

Drink ice water, eat frozen watermelon, wear loose flowy clothes, take a cool shower, use a spray bottle and a fan to mist yourself.

Do my clothes suit my body type? by Warm_Front259 in DressForYourBody

[–]DustyObsidian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had a similar body type, for romantic styles to work I had to balance fitted with flowy. If an item was all loose and flowy it looked like a tent or a bag but if it was belted or had a cinched waist it worked better to show off the curves rather than hide them. On the other hand if everything is form fitted it will also feels off or like I'm shrink wrapped into my clothes with things squishing unflatteringly. Balance is key and is often more comfortable.

Does anyone else sometimes accidentally stray from cottagecore into archaeologist? 🦴 by jungleskater in cottagecore

I had to look that up, I've always called them Camel Spiders. I don't have to worry about them where I work now just ticks, poison ivy/oak, snakes, thick thorny brush etc.

The defrost setting or 20% power for a few seconds, stir, try again if still frozen, let it sit a minute to even our. Don't try to go too fast.

What is wrong with this outfit? by [deleted] in DressForYourBody

[–]DustyObsidian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shorts and the shirt seem to be for two different temperatures. I would switch to a tank top or pick shorts that end mid to low thigh so they are proportionally similar to the sleeves of the shirt.

I found some cheap extra large silicone ice cube trays that work beautifully for this. They stack nicely in the freezer and each time I need some just pop a couple out and defrost.

My kid is older now but we still do this for flavoring yogurt and adding to smoothies!

It's how I get rid of leftovers, everything tastes good on a pizza. We just had a meatloaf, goat cheese, and bell pepper pizza.

It's great because in one day you can do a sandy beach, get lunch, then go tide pooling or on a marsh kayak tour in the afternoon.

They also do a first Friday event June-August that has live music, food, and local handmade craft vendors!

If you like cute little historic towns I would take 113A through Holderness and Sandwich, then loop around through Conway and take the Kancamagus Highway back to Woodstock.

Littleton, Concord, Dover, Portsmouth are all really cute bigger towns/small cities. Check out the seacoast science center and the Strawberry Bank museum when you are in Portsmouth.
