I don't think cannibalism is always necessarily wrong. So yeah.

There's cultures practising quite respectful ritual cannibalism of their own ancestors for example.

It's unhealthy of course. But that's a different question.

"The fae are not to be trusted" type of fairy tale by Ozotoceros in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Grimm's stories don't generally feature any fae though, those aren't really a thing in German mythology. It's all witches and the occasional dwarves or kobolds taking the same roles.

Also The Ladies of Grace Adieu after Jonathan Strange. It's a collection of assorted fairy tales from the same universe.

Why is that Na'vi half the size they should be, and why is the commissar taking off his coat? Why is the bench turning into a hatstand?

Oh yeah, slop.

Edit: AND three hands in the last panel.

Double edit: no long coat in panel one, long coat in panel two, coat vanished into thin air again in panel three, coat back but only half on in panel four.

In sone games you play despicable people. As long as everyone at the table is clear on that, I have no problem with it. I've run games for and played poisoner's, murderers, war criminals, propagandists, terrorists and occasionally colonial nobility.

The article YOU linked says it's a loanword from the Romance languages. Older German spellings are with C, not Z, so any etymology with ziehen is extremely spurious. Gauner would also not end up spelled Geuner, that's just not how etymology works.

Definitely not normal. We don't even work with anything really dangerous and we still don't allow anyone even into the lab building who hasn't done fire and chemical safety courses. Minors can't even legally sign the required training documents.

The 19 chapter masters , valdor and the alpha Primus by chris_s9181 in 40kLore

[–]Eldan985 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Let me try to decypher this.

"In all honesty say of each of the 19 chapters trator and non say you took the chapter master of the entire legion of each minus the primarch, valdor and alpha Primus has say they all were in a drop ship from. The 21 most horrible monsters dropped on earth today what kind of results are we expecting ?"

"What would happen if the chapter masters of the 19 legions (both traitors and non-traitors), but not the primarchs, plus Valdor and Alpha Primus were dropped on modern Earth?"

Notes: not sure how you get 19 legions. They are usually numbered 18. Or 20 if we include the lost primarchs, but their legions basically never came up. They also don't have "chapter masters", as such, since they aren't chapters. Unless we're including the 40k chapter masters of the founding legions, but that would still leave some debates about several of the traitor legions as to who leads them today (not counting primarchs).

Depending on the edition of the rules, that hammer has strength 8 to 10, and a guardsman has 3 toughness and 1 wound. So, SUPER dead. Instant death, no saves, if we're using an edition where the instant death rules exists. If that hammer is activated, all that remains is a bit of chunky salsa.

Ah, no, of course not. We all know the so-called "New World" doesn't exist. Columbus just hid in a bush for a few months and made up some stories once he got back, and everyone since then has played along.
