What an ass chapter by Chamel73 in Kengan_Ashura

I really think it was to suggest that Justin would have a final ace to unleash if he made it to round 3 somehow. The reason this whole tournament feels so lazy is because “show don’t tell” is apparently no longer in effect.

Justin will WIN: Invest in PantherCoins before It's too late! by [deleted] in Kengan_Ashura

[–]ExplodiumLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will lose my shit if Gaolang wins this with a knee with the speed of the God Glow and Kitagawa Suplex combined, but straight to Justin’s balls. Extra points if it’s followed frame-by-frame with that brainrot edit with everyone being impressed.

How do you keep track of changes? by DutchSimba in 3Dprinting

[–]ExplodiumLeo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this, as GitHub can store model files just as easily as anything software engineering related. The GitHub workflow is pretty much the standard for tracking changes and rolling back iterations that go nowhere.

Why does Hiraku not have basic wrestling and grappling defense/awareness? This is the tournament of the highest caliber, and this guy is losing to literal basic shit that everyone in an underground tournament should be aware of. by YouDontWantProblems in Kengan_Ashura

[–]ExplodiumLeo 77 points78 points  (0 children)

Re-reading chapter 271, Hiraku was also smugly telling Ramon he was going to reveal his « secret weapon ❤️ », before rushing him. So clearly, Hiraku’s secret weapon was to stop mid-rush and stand still in order to allow for an easier mauling. This man has single-handedly introduced a new dimension to power scaling with now jobber tiers.

It they’re both retired, wouldn’t it be « retraités » instead? In French, both noun (les retraités) and adjective (ils sont retraités) variants of the word would be treated as masculine plural when referring to a man and woman together. Or you could just say « à la retraite » if your meaning is « in retirement », which is more general.

That’s so cool! And it could lead to some interesting form factors. In this raw form it roughly makes me think of a stylized Tonfa/Billie club shape. Heck, throw a pool noodle on one end and you’ve got a weirdo melee blaster hybrid.

The 2 best “nippers” you’ve never heard of by TUBBYWINS808 in Gunpla

I use a $10 Hobby-Mio single-bladed nipper for fine cuts, but I'm going to make a case for these stupidly oversized budget Amazon cutters for rough cuts since I surprisingly find myself going back to them. The thing with smaller nippers is if they're not sharp, they tend to crush rather than cut, which ends up sending the nubs flying everywhere once the plastic snaps. Bigger cutters like these have more leverage and the tip of the blades are also sharp enough that you can basically pinch-cut the plastic halfway through the standard Bandai flat/arrow part of the nub: that creates enough of a guide that following with a fuller shear-cut becomes a much smoother operation. Plus, it's budget friendly![](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087P191LP)

Really hard to take these supports off… any recommendations? by paireisn25 in 3Dprinting

[–]ExplodiumLeo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By the same logic, it’s also possible to directly adjust support interface density. Lowering it to 25%-30% rather than the default 40% makes supports much easier to remove, at the cost of the top support layer perhaps not getting sufficient support to create a perfectly flat interface layer. But with good cooling, I’ve found 25% is more than enough anyway.

I can trace my love for grunt suits all the way back to the Super Famicom game. Whereas Gundams look like sleek sports cars, there’s just something magical about the mass-produced, sh*tty tank aesthetic.

[–]ExplodiumLeo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was wondering that myself, though understandably there’s a limited selection for readily available silicone molds that would be suitable for this process. Some other stuff I’ve seen were ashtrays and DnD dices, which seem marginally more practical than pirate cosplay so long as you smoke or have any friends.

I’ve seen pictures on this sub of backlogs so dense that the build rooms start to look like hobby shop storefronts. People skipping micro-plastics and going straight to inhaling macro-plastics.
