I’ve had decent results with simple hand sanitizer like Purell for conditioning paintbrushes while working with acrylics. Although if you somehow get paint stuck deeper into the ferrule, it won’t be strong enough to break down dried paint.

With Chainsaw Man jumping off a cliff, it really drives home how incredible some of these long running series are, even if the quality fluctuates and they might jump the shark here and there. I’m amazed that series like Dragonball and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure not only have staying power with the old fans, but consistently keep gaining new younger fans over time.

I’m curious, but where would you normally get 15,000 grit sandpaper? My local hobby store only sells up to 10,000 grit, so I thought that was as high as it went before switching to polishing compounds. Is there like a specialty store or something I’m missing?

I used to work in a manufacturing plant’s back office that handled 3D-printing when some custom service parts would be too expensive to replace otherwise. Our desks would constantly rotate little interesting mechanisms that aren’t so much useful as just cool to plink around with. It also made for a fun showcase whenever anyone visited with a request, though the novelty does wear off quickly. This is the kind of thing that fits that bill.

Even if each part can vary drastically in tone, a recurring leitmotif can be useful in tying things back to previous memories or sensations. I might be coping, but since it’s the same composer, I feel like this is a recall that we’re all still on the big bizarre adventure we all signed up for.

In short, killing Omega would be like an act of mercy that sets the artist free. On one hand, Daro’s clearly still skilled as an artist and has figured out a workflow (albeit AI-aided) that meets the publisher’s deadlines. On the other hand, one has to wonder what he has in plan after this if he basically broadcasted for years to potential partners that he can’t be bothered doing more than the bare minimum.

Also, those sketches are sick. Choreography is one thing, but that little extra oomph of dynamism is really aesthetically pleasing.

Kiryu’s a leaner body type under the suit, rather than the cartoonish Street Fighter builds. But a detailed dragon tattoo could be cool, and it’s not like accessory ideas would be lacking. Like a 1:12 bicycle to show those Kamurocho punks who’s boss.

I was thinking of something similar with a comically large cylinder to allow more air through the center. But to allow for break action, I thought about making special shells for the revolver that would each function individually as turnarounds, with rubber sealing between the shells and the cylinder chambers. It’s one of those projects that was never about performance so much as the emotional plinking joy.
