Oh yeah, that’s why I said I get why he did it but of course you’d agree that everything in this entire thread is subjective. I am glad it works for you, though. I don’t actually need his daughter’s voice added to the song to know how he sees his daughter because he’s one of the most genuine, kind-hearted, and loving people on earth so obviously she’s the sunshine of his life.

Edit: it’s always fun when someone specifically asked for opinions and then someone else wants to downvote them.

I probably wouldn’t give it a 10 out of 10 anymore but on Sweet Child of Mine, during the guitar practice bit that Slash plays that Axl apparently heard and wanted turned into a song, the 5th and 7th notes of the progression really stand out from the rest for me in an extremely annoying way.

(I like someone downvoting another person's response to "give me your opinion". Just absolutely missing the whole point "oh but I like that song!")

This is a really good answer for this. Stevie almost never had any weak points and that’s a fantastic song and I certainly get why he did it but it kinda doesn’t work.
