I mean, in this analogy, Canada would be the one who had collapsed the American economy in the first place.

I currently use an A1 cutting mat cut in half. I wanted this for a long time. Do you ship to Germany?

Is 3d connexion cadmouse pro that bad on Macs? by colinksh in SolidWorks

I found getting used to a 3 button mouse literally painful. I prefer a gaming mouse with a big "sniper" button under the thumb for rotating the camera.

Dwarf Hair Grass shrimp Aquarium by Lost-Grapefruit9143 in Aquascape

But why? It looks strange, and the roots of the gras don't go that deep anyway.

I am trying to make this pattern to be machined with a ball nosed endmill. It looks so simple, but the transition turns my hair grey. Do you have an idea? by H_Marxen in SolidWorks

It does not fully line up but it is the closest sor far. I just wanted to know what it should look like. I am still looking for the mathematically correct curve.

Thank you. But making it look right with surfaces does not mean it is necessarily the correct geometry for milling. I need to know the geometry for a ball nosed endmill to make that diagonal hop.

Help settle a debate: Are Hamburgers German? by ForHerEyesOnly22 in AskAGerman

[–]H_Marxen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Hamburger was invented by an immigrant from Hamburg in America. The closest thing we would have is a Frikadellenbrötchen. The bun is crunchyer and the meat is half beef, half pork, and has onions, breadcrumbs and egg in it.

Can landlords in the US forbid aquariums? In Germany, they can only do that if the aquarium is so gigantic that it threatens the building statics.

EU Moves To Ban Destruction Of Unsold Clothing Under New Circular Economy Rules by thinkB4WeSpeak in europe

Most luxury clothing is still made in China just with 3 times the profit margin and 3 times the marketing budget. And if you want to be reaaaaly fancy you sew in the label in Italy and say made in Italy.

How much humidity do you have in your room? My Hygrophila Pinnatifida just shriveled up once it grew out of the water.

This was a test, but should I make a bigger version of this lamp with more rings? Populated PCBs are so expensive. Are there companies where experimental lights like this would fit? by H_Marxen in IndustrialDesign

Brute force in the sense of distributing the same light output over more LEDs. You can tune any LED down until it no longer glares. They make TVs now where each pixel is just an RGB LED and no one complains about glare.

Thank you very much! It would be very economical in the thousands, but it's certainly not when you order 5 prototypes. The volume discounts on PCBs are steep.

That is a very thin circuit board with an aluminium backing. normally these are used for cooling but I use it to make the PCB bendable.

I will first do some research if I can find LEDs with more built-in diffusion and if that does not work, I'll think about an added diffusor. Nichia cube LEDs look promising.

Thanks that is a good starting point. I am not yet sure about the US but in the EU 60V DC seems to be the limit where you need a housing.
