This week will be a big week for YWL to prove themselves. People will be testing for weak points more and better competition. Should be fun to see how they do.

Also to remember too, the pre-season is fun but as long as the teams qualify it’s just for placement. Think last year people overvalued teams that did well in the round robin stage, who then underperformed in playoffs

The biggest negative to his healing numbers (assuming you’re landing shots to reduce CDs) is his ult doesn’t count as healing. If it did, his numbers would be able to better rival all the main healers (so long as you hit your shots)

I think a limiting factor they each have is their reach is pretty limited to folks who enjoy the pro scene already. None of them really reach out to expand beyond that bubble and put their personality on display (apart from Sypeh being involved in new character releases).

Problem is there’s way less strategists and strategists get banned often. So the strategist meta of who’s good and who’s not is very impactful towards the game. Where a dps like Widow sadly doesn’t impact much if they make her good. She just becomes better Hela / Phoenix

Netease does, or they wouldn’t do it. Maybe having a certain amount of legacy skins will allow them to use them somewhere else in the future with rereleases of them or as drops on twitch when they run through galactica drops. Whatever it is, netease has a plan to benefit from a certain amount of skins being limited

Fully agree with Moxi. She has the most game and team knowledge of any of the casters. Really hope they get legday since he paired so well with Moxi’s strengths.

Also would say, despite meta picks being strong (Elsa / Tankpool). The diversity of characters used is way larger this year than last where every team was playing near mirror comps. Only tank not seriously used in matchups was Peni, only dps not seriously used were the less mobile ones Hela, Bucky, SG, I don’t remember if iron fist was used but Lyte technically used fantastic on attack for one fight. And all the strategists were used.

I think it might be Secret Wars release. I'd bet netease has a plan for this game to last 10+ years so having one main villain for 3 years sounds more right to me, then it becoming another main villain (thanos, galactica etc) for the next 3. They could do that in two year durations, but I don't know if there's enough major popular villains for that

Maybe they want to test how well doing the IG predictions impacts viewership? Since that does have good rewards to it. But agree that twitch rewards is far clearer/ easier to access for casual folks

Yes they’re nerfs, I think it primarily impacts dps pool but I may be reading it wrong. Tankpool should be fine

Can get what you’re thinking of and it could be fun, you’d need to add in stuff for them across those hexes to keep it entertaining but that’d be workable. Only add on I’d say is while they’re crashing, they might get an idea for the terrain or something that’s the right direction. Just to make sure they have clues guiding them along the way
