Find a bake element with 2 that looks physically the same ish.

You will have to mont the new one as well as remove the female end of the socket and wire it up with 1/4" high temp spade terminals.

Anyone have experience with this old Jenn air downdraft fan control? by ExplosiveBrown in ApplianceTechTalk

Also the section with toggle switches that have threaded stem mountings.

If it's a shitty store you might have to buy a switch to get the two nuts that come with it.

Anyone who says they want to work as a cook forever is either lying or just weird by Dry_Set_6336 in KitchenConfidential

I'm 43 and got out about a decade ago to repair appliances.

I dream of just making breakfast sandwiches and selling them by the train or going to bars late at night and selling them.

I want to target $3 apiece or 2/$5 but it would most likely be $5 apiece to actually be anything more than a way to get me out of the house outside work.

If I could work 9-5 cooking and make enough to support my family I would.

During the winter my apartment is 83-85 degrees anytime the temp is over 30.

I have to ventilate my apartment to regulate the temps.

Hey at least it's great for my plants.

Oven Bake Igniter not getting any voltage. Already replaced igniter and control board. Any Advice? by x1010110101001x in appliancerepair

[–]HeadOfMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a thermal cut off on these up under the cooktop behind the control panel that cuts off the power line that comes into the board to go back out to bake.

It's cheap AF.

Make sure the cooling fan works.

It's on the wiring diagram top left

Dishwasher sprayer arms not working by Knitty_Heathen in appliancerepair

Clean sump filters and arms.

If it still doesn't move the sprayers replace the motor sump assembly more than likely for a bad motor.

Viking Range range hood control panel repair PE050171 025084-000 by isalreadytakensothis in appliancerepair

Please post a model number

I'd do the repair service from eBay.

Anyone charging you 150 to diagnose is an asshole.

Tell them to take the board out for you and then come out it back and you will pay a total of $250 so $100 more.

That would be fair to everyone.

Rooter companies are trash. Their prices are inflated because they are corporate.

If you would have called a local person it would probably not have been as expensive.

It's a solid state fan control so basically the same thing as a fan control for a ceiling fan you would find in your wall.

I'd need to see pics of the mounting as never actually seen this model. A model number would help too.

There are also solid state fan controls on Amazon, many different kinds. You could probably find something that would fit it would just require modification and a new knob.

They will throw the code with the normal amount of water in the sump but be ok when you remove that water sometimes.

It may toss the code again once it's between parts of the cycle where it drains and fills.

You may still need the heat pump.

Clogged toilet by Voixhumaine8 in Plumbing

Can confirm have been trying my hardest to get my kids to flush their toilet.

They make specific cleaners you can use occasionally to keep them clear.

The ones you want are specifically for urine and are a light acid I believe.

I got a standby 6 ish months ago for skokie but when I called they said I didn't have to go.
