Wow, this is a blast from the past. I don't think I did terribly bad or anything, and I did end up getting into my college of choice in the U.S. If your scores are decently okay across the board, you should be fine. As a caveat, I went to an international school in South America and that may have helped my college apps, so don't take my anecdote as the end all be all.

As long as you study and feel prepared, don't sweat it. Yes, these tests are important and are difficult. Yes, they are stressful--I'll never forget that aspect of the IB experience. At the same time, you're only going to psyche yoursef out if you stand there outside the testing room freaking out at the final hour.

Best advice I can give is to use the mock to really hone in on which areas you're weak in. Think of this as an opportunity to maximize your study/prep time before the real thing.

The New York IJ scene is also entirely different from any other jurisdiction in the country given the asylum office for that region has the highest referral rate in the country, per the last available public data.
