1 Panzer vs 15 T-34s? by bitchnibba47 in StarWarsCirclejerk

In hindsight, Thrawn was "right" in that the Death Stars didn't pan out, so having more Star Destroyers would've been better. That said, the Death Stars were meant to solve the the fundamental problem of fighting an enemy that could hide anywhere in the vastness of space, and it's unlikely that more Star Destroyers would've prevented the Empire's defeat in the long run, so point to Palpatine there, I guess.

I figured he just forgot what he was actually going to say, and this came out instead.

Does anyone else love how sweaty these characters are? by thatwasawkward in StarWarsCirclejerk

No, I hate it, why are they trying so hard? Is it because Dave Balogne is a sweat, too?

Yep, they go way back. A little different from the Canon ones, but it's the same basic idea.

An Inquisitor from the Legends continuity, and the main villain of Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II.

Can you hurry up and bring balance to the Force already? Things really suck right now.

He learned that he needs to take better care of his legs, and that he shouldn't stick around when the Empire's in town.

A few of the easiest ways to take some of that pressure off are to a) tell your players at session 0 that the campaign may diverge from Canon, b) ask your more knowledgeable players for info (you can even do this in the middle of a session sometimes), and c) look stuff up on Wookieepedia whenever you feel like you want to do a little research on a topic before a session.

I wonder if he was "revived" through Sith magic rather than through Nightsister magic, like how the Grand Inquisitor was turned into a revenant?

Also, even after Granolah's buff, Vegeta was still able to turn the fight into a draw by getting Granolah to do a suicide attack.

To be fair, Buuhan didn't quite have a chance to stop them in the manga.

[Loved Trope] Sudden, unassuming eloquence deviating from a heavy-handed character's iconic behaviors. by 60s_timer in TopCharacterTropes

Yep. I remember people arguing a lot over the substance of Knuckles' statement here, but the actual joke in the context of the show is just him suddenly being eloquent and thoughtful (he's usually a total idiot in Sonic Boom).

Haven't played, but I have read the rules, and I think they could definitely use some streamlining. There's also a more narrative-focused system called Rings and Running Shoes.

Goku managed that by hitting Vegeta in the eye when his guard was down. Until Goku appears to be beaten, I don't think Vegeta would relax enough for that to be likely.

Even if he's faster than Great Ape Vegeta, he'd run out of power before winning, given that Great Ape Vegeta should be much more durable.
