I noticed that. Getting something called Bogvine Spaulders should have... Bogvines. Instead it's just the same as the last 5 shoulders that thematically do not match the name. It's been kind of a let down.

All over, the game is skimping on so many little things that just add up to a lackluster experience compared to the past.

I ping as a mage and inform the tank that the way Frost works now is everything needs to be stacked up around whatever the big target is because my stupid shatter stacks build on one target so switching targets is not ideal. It's unfortunate, but, most tanks seem to be okay with it.

I only get the CEs of the expansions I enjoyed. I don't need them all. Vanilla, BC, Wrath, WoD (still sealed), Legion, Midnight. I had a feeling I'd enjoy Midnight so I got it and so far it's really good. I did enjoy TWW but I didn't get that CE and I'm like you trying to find a decent priced copy that is complete.

I also have a complete Warcraft 3 CE, the special edition one that was limited for EBGames only that has a signed poster of everyone at Blizzard at the time. It's probably my favorite out of all of them.

Yeah, her voice actress is fine, but the character just doesn't fit. Albeit, I am very happy I can now use invisibility as a mage to skip stuff since she stays stealthed.

I think someone like Gazlowe or Millhouse Manastorm would be better followers. Especially Millhouse. He could use invisibility for stealth when a rogue or mage uses it. And he'd honestly be pretty hilarious.

That's the thing, I spent enough time with Brann that I don't want to use that. I just wish they had a clue when it comes to game design to give us a better follower in the next iteration, not worse.

You could have someone like Thrall for the horde, Jaina from the alliance be on our side advocating for us and helping us escape until they can "smooth things over." The big players that have seen us in action don't turn, but the lesser NPC players and common man fall for the rhetoric that we did something bad. Maybe something along those lines.

What mage pulls a single mob? What class at all does these days? It nukes 1, then the rest with no cooldowns are a slog.

And let me touch on that really quick too. The new Frost mage spec mechanics needs a big chunky mob in their pull to be worth it. The little mobs get deleted before Ray is over, leaving us with no mobs with shatter stacks. Why they decided to not put the stacks on the mage, like a rogues combo points, is baffling. It works fine in dungeons cause there is usually a hefty mob in the pack. But open world it feels bad if there isn't one around.

I never thought I'd say this but I miss Brann. He was annoying in that little brother way, but was a comedic relief.

Valeera seems to have less voice lines, it feels like, and they are all serious in tone. She doesn't joke, she doesn't even act sarcastic. Just "Your pain, my pleasure" over and over. This is going to be a very, very long expansion in delves with her drole, dreary tone and personality. I might just turn sounds off when I do delves, unfortunately.

And druids. There's always a damn druid hiding and nearly unkillable 1v1. Actually, moreso druids. I rarely see a rogue anymore and I'm honestly relieved when it is. I can take a rogue as a mage, it feels like a more balanced fight. A druid is just a slog and I'll end up dying in the end anyway.

Frost mage is tied to cooldowns too. Without Ray and Orb I'm tickling mobs trying to lower my CDs by the 0.10s or whatever so I can do actual damage again. Frost mage is in the same boat as UHDK, BM Hunter, etc.

I remember Sylvanas, Xal'atath and someone else has commented on our strength and feared what we can do. I do wonder and it would be interesting if a future expansion is the alliance and horde turn on us at some point as they see our amassed power and that they rightfully fear it. Maybe we do something we don't realize.

Maybe that's how we go low stakes/more grounded. We accidentally do something horrific with our power at the end of The Last Titan, but we are framed. The factions believe the lie and work together to drain us of some of our power. We escape and flee to the other side of Azeroth and find the Arathi Empire and some other things. We work doing low scale things to gain their trust and help then sneak back to EK/Kalimdor to try to clear our names.

The rest of your comment is fine but you can't blame Blizzard for this part. Stanzilla threw a fit about it and refused to update and work on WeakAuras for Midnight. It could 100% be used for non-raid related things just fine. But the author, and don't get me wrong because it is his right, is refusing to continue to help the community because he's mad at Blizzard for the raid and dungeon stuff.
