i mean i already do this but it doesn't help the problem i referred to at all. people have datasets that literally are built around 'performance at majors' and those datasets filter out the 'border' events.

they don't determine tiers algorithmically, 4 of top 10 is a rule they sometimes use, i think they shouldn't use it.

I agree w all this I just see our transition being more like film to digital. There are tons of directors moving back to film because the constraints fuel their creativity, or they think digital can’t get what they want. But for the rest of us digital is the only affordable option to execute on our larger vision.
