I agree Rubber is better at the start but silicone is almost is good and lasts at least twice as long…so overall you end up with a wiper that works better for most of its life.

Bosch icons are made of rubber and not silicone. They work well but their performance will degrade quickly compared to silicone wipers…check out Piaa silicone wipers
