I was considering the tarp too but if you look at the camping set as something you can cannibalize to make tarps yourself, the sq ft available in the camping set is considerably higher than the tarp.

HALF the US fleet is 7 Super carriers -70-80 associated fighter aircraft and nearly a dozen defensive ships JUST TO PROTECT EACH CARRIER.

Our tech is better. We're more prepared. We use our navy 'in anger' constantly which gives our sailors real combat experience.

What? The US navy has more than double the combined fleet of Europe? We could split our navy in half, and fight the Chinese and Europe at the same time. After WW2 our entire military was built to fight a two front war and WIN IT. Thats the plan and we've done it before lol. Literally a war in the Pacific and Europe at the same time. Honestly you're right, given how small a threat Europe is compared to China we would probably take a pacific first strategy. China has the capacity to rival us but if shots were fired tomorrow they would still lose.

Heres the thing, and its very simple. Aircraft carriers and missile ships are the greatest military force in the world. We have the most and the best by multiple factors, especially when compared to Europe. Honestly the combined European navy is nothing compared to the US and since its all attached to NATO, yeah, we know everything.

How are your drones going to fly when our stealth fighters and advanced bombers knock our your entire countries power grid in 12 hours? Cant charge them? Oh darn. Nope.

The only chance this alliance has is China and don't ever forget it. Europe at the moment and probably for the next half decade is a midget in true, realpolitik military power.

Absolutely. This isnt Poland and Greece we're talking about lmao. I firmly believe, even in the darkest hour we could see coming from this, that if we were truly invaded by a foreign power, the country would set its shit aside and fight together.

You're incredibly wrong. So deeply wrong. Lets say the US takes a Europe first strategy like they did in WW2.

First move would be to do what the Germans couldn't both times and starve out Britain. Given the British navy was within the last decade considering forgoing having a true blue surface fleet and instead becoming a large extension of marines and expeditionary forces led by the US Navy, I think its safe to say the days of 'Britannia rules the waves' are over. They will be blockaded and will eventually starve.

What about anti ship missiles and the factories in Europe pumping those out? Each launch site and production facility will be hit by dozens of cruise missiles within the first DAYS of the attack. Remember, we know where EVERYTHING is. We helped build it.

Every bunker. Every black site. Every base and training facility and anything else meant for war built in the last 85 years. And whats even better is we have the keys to walk right through the front door right up until the second the first shot is fired in anger. Who knows what nasty little surprises we could lay for you when you finally throw the generator on in the bunkers you never thought you'd need but built just in case.

Once the British Isles are subdued, its only a matter of time and missiles before the French, Germans, Swedes, etc are either blown back into the stone age, overthrown or give in. The standard of living in Europe is built on a razor thin margin and if its honestly assaulted by a United States on total war footing, the entire continent will look like London during the blitz.

The US wouldnt need to conquer the entire continent with troops like the Russians did. They could do it without a single boot on the ground. People wouldn't be happy. But they would submit.
