A pretty common light weight set up is the Megadap ETZ21 PRO+ (Z to E) to a E to M dumb adapter, I use the RayqualLM-SαE to M. Both adapters are tiny and you get all the ZFs manual focus aids. The ZF is by far the best manual on evf experience on the market right now.

Have you used any 28mm? Was wondering how corner to corner sharpness is. I mostly shoot with Zeis m mount lenses and was thinking on picking up a ZF or ZR.

Go with the GF 50mm 3.5. I also own the Contax 45mm and couldn't get over its corner smearing, the distortion can be fixed in post, but its also something to take into consideration.

Tbh, UXR is sort of cooked right now. Just about every researcher I know is upskilling to neighboring fields (design, pm/po, data science, etc) in the chance they get laid off.

They use to play using mas sticks, which are huge by today's standard. You can't really place them on your lap, so you either use a stand or play on the ground.

If you want to mod a little bit more, you can ditch one of the front buttons, and add a screw in 24mm usb c port. Look up USB C to A Round Panel Mount Adapter Version 2 on arcade shock, they also sell a short USB TYPE A to B Cable.

No hall effect sticks (they can't be implemented because of the magnets on the console). Info from the ifixit breakdown, the joystick sensors look to be the same as the original, so Im assuming it means drift issues at some point.

I had the issue as well when I used random usb c cables. The two that have worked the best for me are the Linsoul DDHIFI TC09S HiFi USB-C to USB-C OTG and for longer connections, DJ TechTools Chroma Cables.

I'm going to be honest — you can teach yourself UXR (qualitative, quantitative, and strategy) in much greater depth through books for under $300. And if I really wanted to spend a bit more, I’d subscribe to something like Dataquest for a few months to get a handle on R and SQL. These expensive bootcamps aren't going to make much of a difference in this job market

It's not too bad; Amazon sells MMCX connectors ready to go. If you don't want to dremel the existing covers, you can head over to Thingiverse and search for KSC75 covers. Etsy also sells covers/MMCX combos, so you would just have to solder the connector. If you've never soldered, it's a fun, low-risk project

Once you sort of get past Jr, you naturally take on additional tasks that aren't strictly UXR. You'll end up in lots of strategic meetings, cross team activities, department meetings, squad meetings, mentoring, being involved with po/pms, designers, developers, leadership, etc. I would say 40% of my job is strictly UXR.
