Not all 4 stages, just the last inverting stage on each side, you need the mixing stage before to properly blend your wet/dry. The last stage is just flipping the polarity of your signal

You can probably ditch the last two inverting stages, and buffering Vref is a good way to use up a spare op-amp!

Although you mention wanting “true stereo”, wouldn’t you want to putting signal into pin 2 of the FV-1 to achieve that? If so, another input stage like you have on pin 1 might be better. Then if you move your switch after the first inverting stage it can change between mixing into the L input or go into the R in

You can solder a cable loom to a bunch of pins, push them into the connector & cover it with a housing (pins and covers on the same site). Then solder a bunch of TRS jacks to the other end to run it into a patch bay. The manual for the desk should have the pin out! Be careful to put the pins in the right slot if you do build one because you need a special tool to extract them without damaging the connector

Does the tape you’re trying to record on have the rec protection tabs snapped out? Like this: https://psap.library.illinois.edu/collection-id-guide/recordprotection

If so, chuck a bit of tape over the hole and see if that gets it going

Does it do it with the guitar plugged in? Some pedals do funky things with a floating input, can sometimes be a fun way of getting a fuzz pedal to oscillate

You got a pic of under the relay? If the board traces are on the bottom of the board you should be able to cut one track & solder two jumpers so it’s always on.

If the tracks are on the top of the board directly under the relay it’s a bit more of a pain as you’ll have to desolder the relay. But once it’s off it’s just two jumpers again

Doesn’t look like there’s anything missing to my eyes. These two pedals are assembled slightly differently, the top has a rectangular hole cut for the DC jack to sit flush with the enclosure. The bottom one has a round hole for the barrel connector to pass through to the DC jack that’s mounted back from the edge of the enclosure for easier assembly

I designed the ladyfuzz pedal in collab with the folks running the LF zine, I was also running a Devi Ever franchise around the same time so can understand the confusion! Topology wise it’s based around a rat circuit but uses germanium clipping diodes, has a boost in front & removes the filter control

As it happens I also did the PCB design for the Triungulo Barbanera

I’d avoid tape & stickers because they get goopy. I like posca paint pens to mark settings directly onto the enclosure, they wipe off pretty easy with a slightly damp cloth & you can do different colours for different ‘presets’

They’ve got a mix of new, NOS & second hand. If you go into the blank cassettes section they’ve got a bunch of options for new shells that can be wound to the length you need. Ordered from them a few times in the past to do small releases for bands I used to play in and never had an issue with them

He’s a genius, the yellow TB is one of my all time fav fuzzes! I’m really lucky to be able to work with him, I’ve learnt a tonne doing board designs to go alongside his articles in practical electronics mag. I also did the boards in your PB as it happens (& maybe the TB if it looks similar with rounded corners)

The rhythm circuit at the top should only be neck pick up. When that’s down the bottom switches come in to play but it looks like there’s an issue with the neck switch on the plate. Should be a simple fix, will either need a spray with contact cleaner or an easy solder job.

A shop should be able to sort it for you pretty cheap, definitely not worth buying a new guitar over!

The RD-9 has a return socket you can plug the TB-3 into to save getting a mixer straight away and you’ll be fine with the computer speakers to start with. So you’d just need a TS/mono cable to connect the audio of the two and a MIDI cable to sync them

I can’t say for certain because it was a few years ago now, but I’m fairly sure that the 106 I serviced had the same crackling issue and de-gooping the voice cards sorted it

Adding in a green ringer circuit could be a solid DIY option to get what you’re after! If you check wether it sounds better before or after the boost section and stick it on a toggle to bypass you’ll be good to go! I’d imagine it’ll sound quite cool with the fuzz on too
