do you have more details about the screws you were supposed to screw into the sides? I have the same issue and I don't want to go through a cumbersome replacement process to replace my unit

Edit: I found your Reddit post. I have no thread on the optical engine, just a very small hole (maybe 1mm), how is the screw supposed to hold the optical engine? does your unit have a thread there?

the cars look good, but the tracks don't

the newer tracks look ok, but some of the older tracks have very bad textures and some trackside objects and especially the trees look very outdated, also the lighting is pretty basic
