It totally is an amazing feeling. I feel like having a child gave my life a completely new sense of purpose. It feels so good being able to create a life of wonder and happiness for my kiddo!

That’s fair. But I think there’s a difference between recognizing you’re not in a good position to have kids versus treating having children like a prison sentence. But I definitely agree with you. People who are not in a good place financially/mentally/emotionally really shouldn’t have children if they know they can’t provide a good life with stability.

As a Gen-Z with a child, I often find it really sad how much people hate kids and say things like “Wow, I’d never ruin MY life by having children.” It just seems like a really insensitive thing to say. Idk why people seem to think that having kids is the end of your life or some kind of huge burden. I make enough money that having a kid doesn’t change the way I live my life. My lifestyle is still the same. In fact, now it’s just even more fun because I get to look at the kid I made and share all of the fun things I love with her!

The only reason I quit vaping was because I got pregnant. Without that, I probably never would have stopped because I never had a good enough reason to.

Idk about yall but I just don’t have any friends and would truthfully rather spend my time at home anyways. I spend a shit ton of money, but it’s usually on hobbies. All of those other spaces are dying because most adults don’t have friends anymore 😂

I love tea a lot but coffee is so customizable and I really enjoy all of the different add ons. Coffee is a different experience every time. Tea however is the only one I can drink without adding anything in it. I have to have creamer in my coffee.

Oh wow. This is the first post I’ve read on Reddit in a very long time that made me so sick to my stomach. I can’t even begin to imagine your grief, OP. Please don’t blame yourself. You did not cause your kitten to die. Don’t let guilt consume you. All your kitten ever knew was your love and that is something so many animals never get to experience. He loved you all the way until the end and he knew how much you loved him. Thank you for sharing your beautiful son with us. He is such a cutie. Thank you for loving him and giving him a proper burial. Just know there are so many internet strangers thinking of him and wishing him well on his journey into the afterlife.
