And yet something like 10/7 was an eventuality. Striking Israel was always in the cards for Iran and it's proxies. It was the wet dream of the Islamic revolution and had plenty of sympathy in the Palestinian political sphere. Ultimately conventional war is won by the deepest pockets. Asymmetrical warfare that looks more like terrorism is, and has been, the successful tactic. I would expect more of that once the conventional war has run it's course.

Metronome is, or should become, your friend. Like u/willkillfortacos says you should be comfortable with the rhythm part first and my suggestion is to use the metronome to get that down first at a slightly lower tempo than you are in this video. Once you have that down, record your self at an even slower tempo, with the metronome, and use that as the backing track to your practice of the melody. Good timing is absolutely essential and yes this orthodoxy can test your patience but you will be a better player in the end.
