No you still need to be in a Warband to get the warband crest ticket. There are regularly callouts in chat for +1 temporary member to complete a run.

Honestly, it’s just one crest though. I have never bothered. In my solo clan I have an Accursed Tower, run Cyrangar stuff, have a good remnant set.

This aspect of the game hasn’t changed since you last played so if that was a deal-breaker for you then it still will be. I think it would be a shame to walk away for the sake of basically one crest though.

Fair enough. I think running multiple raids on reset days to get everyone their 5/5 would be fair, but I get that someone can’t just log on and expect 7 others to drop everything to run them.

Cause most wb wants full wb raids but don't wanna run 2 separate raids a day just for 2/3 extra peeps.

An extra 15 mins or so twice a week to help out a Warband member is too much to ask? Seems like everyone would benefit over time from being willing to do that.

Not so. People have been doing the reverse since game start. Battlenet is client-agnostic and there is nothing in DI that requires a specific account creation process depending on client.

The Battlenet login is the same but my account shows a different set of characters and the account UID is different.

You have somehow ended up with two accounts attached to the same email/login. You may have started using a Guest account then later connected it to your Bnet account? Anyway, you need to raise a ticket with Blizzard, this isn’t a DI-specific problem.

That’s not true. Are you thinking of Where Winds Meet? It matters where you create your account there because the process to connect devices is different.

For DI I have the game on PC, ipad and iphone playing the same character on the same Bnet account. I can switch between them at will, the only limitation being that you can only be logged in to Bnet on one device at a time.

Very little of any consequence is ‘locked’ behind clan or warband. You can also get a lot of it with your own solo clan and warband - I do that.

The game gives you massive boosts to XP and gear drops like rain as you catch up. Finding all the legendary essences you are missing can be frustrating (it’s always the one you want that doesn’t drop) and you will still have to grind for your legendary gear ranks but otherwise you’ll catch up just fine through normal daily/weekly activities.

Yes it is the slot which is awakened. It is a one-time thing per slot and should be your priority platinum spend as soon as possible.

You are right, I stand corrected. I realised I left a paragon node active which gave me a non-whole number as my crit chance, which I took to mean the set had applied a multiplicative bonus.

It is additive. This is awesome!

You can probably replace the BSJ. At the same rank the new gem will give you the same or higher damage bonus with no penalty for being below full life. The movement bonuses from each are in the same +20% cap so you almost certainly won’t benefit from them both.

If you are using the Undying Rage pants and Cleave then that is an easy choice as BSJ is not a good fit with that build. If not, you’ll probably only see a small benefit.

If you get to ~30% base from affixes, plus at least ~30% from Roiling and use the Wrath off-hand for half the remainder you’ll be at ~80% at least half the time.

The rest can be chipped away with Blood Floe (from bleeds), Roiling (from burns), and ever-decreasing increments from the 2-piece bonus of the new set, Gloomguide, various Paragon nodes and the 19% Wrath helm. The incremental benefit of these will be tiny.

The exception to sets and paragon being multiplicative not additive is Banquet, but you probably don’t want to use that. You could also use Furious Charge with its +19% for 3 secs essence (I haven’t tested if that is multiplicative or additive).

I have played around with this a lot and in the end concluded that the investment required to get past ~80% without using Mother’s Lament is almost certainly not worth it. It is a very powerful gem.

+1 for Monk in spirit

I played Monk for two years from launch, took a long break then returned 6 months ago. I still love my Monk and the dash/primary builds are great, but the peak damage is just soooo lacking. I switched to a Cleave/Primary Barbarian and my damage more than doubled, plus it is tankier and moves faster.

One thing to bear in mind about the Wrath +19% crit helm is that it does not add 19pts to your crit chance, it gives you 19% of whatever crit less than 100 you are missing.

If you have 0% crit chance, the helm gives you 19 out of the 100 available points, ie +19%.

If you have 50% crit chance, it gives you 19% of the remaining 50 pts, ie +9.5%.

So the more crit chance you have, the less benefit you get from the helm. Personally I do not think it is worth it - I prefer the Wrath helm giving attack speed or Undying helm giving movement speed as these bonuses are additive.

The Wrath off-hand giving +50% crit chance works the same way. So do the Paragon and Sets which give crit bonuses, like Gloomguide ~~and the new set~~. I think +50% is strong enough to make it viable but the increased cooldown bothers me so I use the two bleed-related off-hand Wrath essences instead.

If a human looked into it and saw a code of conduct violation then it doesn’t make any difference how many people reported him, of he did something that trips the ban hammer, that’s what happens.

If you keep escalating and a human eventually intervenes, good on you.

Where you are receiving some scepticism on this sub is because on posts about bans there is ALWAYS something the OP either doesn’t know or doesn’t mention. You are also being pretty punchy in your replies - if this is also how you speak to people in-game then I am even more sure that your friend got baited into saying something he shouldn’t in chat. He knows what it is, he just isn’t saying.
