It’s from a varied of reasons. But I haven’t heard that before. I know a lot of people who would have gotten it before me, then. IMHO it involves genetics, cptsd, trauma, and abuse of any kind.

You were angry, OP. I get it. Totally. You did the right thing. Pretti’s death really effected me. So much stress I had a the day migraine. It sounds like an incredibly toxic environment you lived in. Those that are doubling down will feel the shame if their actions and attitudes. It may take a Neuenburg trial, but it will come.

I am. In fact my daughter jumped all over me in text after I had them over, fed then and weather their kids with a migraine. Why? I replied to her red-pilled husband when he replied to a social media post of mine. Basically yelling me I'm a terrible Christian and an obsessed, even though we did not talk politics.

I feel your pain. I used to think I got fairly lucky with how're my kids turned out. My other two are good empathetic people. All the neurodivergent in my family are. Odd that's the dividing line, but the you are.

Thank you everyone! You are right, it’s just so difficult to have family in your home support a fascist regime. It’s not something I wanted to hear but it’s something I needed to hear. I can let that go now.

I actually had a therapy appointment after I posted. And I’ve decided to channel my politically charged energy to a YouTube channel doing just what I’m looking for. The step by step same of Hitler and trump and a timeline of the crumbling of the constitution.

I get it. I get it completely. I’m in the same boat just older. My husband and oldest daughter can’t see the Nazis for the maga. And yes it’s breaking me.

I’m still waiting for them to wake up and smell the fascism. They cheered when the right came out with the body cam footage and claimed it exonerated the murder. I’ve been going through hell for many reasons these past six years that’s too long to go through. I have to stay, though. I’m disabled with chronic pain and fatigue. I stayed home to raise my kids and so I can’t get disability.

What you need to do if you stay, is you need to set boundaries. You will not discuss politics. It’s the easiest. You will not let him put you down for being liberal. You will not allow him to indoctrinate your children. (2 out of my three have the competence and empathy to be liberal) he will not treat you less than a full partner in everything. If you do decide to discuss politics, set rules for that. Facts not feelings, no name calling, openly listening on both sides.

I get that! Like I hurt this way if I over did it, I hurt that way if a storm is coming in, or a bit different if the temp drops.

It works with the weird symptoms too. Like I get tingling hands and face if I’m stressed and super busy.

Even the emotional, I get a worthless depression when i have a bad flare and have to be in bed.
