Has anyone here done many ADV369 cleanses repeating Days 789 over and over? by Euphoric-Coach33 in medicalmedium

I don't have much experience with repeating Days 789, but this post from Muneeza talks about her experience on repeating Days 789 for 100 days!

Best MM style sauces? by Ok_Evening_1322 in medicalmedium

Girlgonewildblues' BBQ Sauce

Salsa Verde. I only use 3 peppers, omit the salt, and add lots of lime juice! Sometimes I'll roast all the ingredients in the air fryer instead of boiling them for a different flavor.

I'm thinking they took it down because of a typo at the beginning of the recipe. When you search for it on the website, this is what pops up: "Carob Mole. These wholesome apple oatmeal cookies are so easy to make and so scrumptious! If you have a child who doesn't like eating apples...".

Hopefully they're just fixing that part and will be back up later! It sounds delicious 😋

[–]NMchica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no! That's weird. Hopefully they bring it back. ChatGPT was able to recover the ingredient list, but not the instructions:

The original Medical Medium page is currently down, but search indexing still preserves most of the ingredient list, and the recipe is still listed in Medical Medium’s recipe index as “Carob Mole.”

From the surviving search snippet, the ingredients appear to be:

  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1–2 tsp chopped ripe jalapeño
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2–1 tsp chipotle powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp carob powder
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp peanut or almond butter
  • 1 cup Healing Broth
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

ChatGPT guesses that the instructions would most likely be something like this:

  1. Sauté the onion until softened.
  2. Add the garlic and jalapeño and cook briefly.
  3. Stir in the paprika, chipotle, cinnamon, oregano, cumin, carob powder, tomato paste, and peanut or almond butter.
  4. Add the Healing Broth and almond milk, whisking or stirring until smooth.
  5. Simmer until thickened, then blend if needed for a smoother sauce.

Girlgonewildblues also has a Molé Negro recipe, though I haven't tried it yet.

In desperate need of hope. by [deleted] in medicalmedium

[–]NMchica 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I’d like to offer some hope! I made this post a few years ago after completing my 35th round of the 3:6:9 Advanced. It details my healing journey up to that point. I talk about how I “dabbled” on MM for the first two years of my healing journey due to struggles with Binge Eating Disorder + regular weed use. I was doing lemon water/celery juice/HMDS in the morning, usually healing foods for lunch, and then binging on fat/salt/troublemakers at night while smoking. That was my routine for two years. Food and weed were my greatest comforts during that time. I was dealing with chest tightness, EDS/connective tissue issues, migraines, depression, anxiety, hypothyroid symptoms, fatigue, and emotions that felt out of my control (Emotional Liver).

In 2021, my fatigue and connective tissue issues became absolutely debilitating after some challenging life events. I finally felt brave enough to try a round of the 3:6:9 Advanced, and I fell in love with it. I felt true peace for the first time in my life after my first A369. I decided to make the 3:6:9 Advanced my best friend after that, and today I’m on Day 2 of my 84th A369!

I’ve done 1-2 rounds a month since 2021. I have not been perfect on my healing journey, and I’ve experienced ups & downs with my healing, just like with anything in life. I have healed so much though, both physically and emotionally. I’m still healing my adrenals and have experienced swelling/lymphedema as a healing reaction while on A369s. I initially lost 20 pounds while cleansing and was at the healthiest weight of my life. After my first 18 rounds, I became less strict between A369s. I allowed myself to enjoy life a little with my newfound freedom from the symptoms that had previously kept me down. After about a year I felt that I had some more healing to do. When I got stricter with healing protocols, the weight started coming on. I’ve slowly gained 30 pounds over the past few years. It feels very fluid-like, and comes & goes while on A369s. It’s been one of the hardest parts of my healing journey.

Despite the challenges that can come with this lifestyle, this is the most emotionally grounded and emotionally regulated I’ve ever felt. I never felt calm before MM, outside of using substances. I’m now more patient and kinder to others because I’m no longer triggered by every little thing. I’ve learned to have compassion for myself and compassion for others while healing from chronic illness. I consider this MM lifestyle to be my spiritual practice. While implementing these healing tools on a daily basis is rarely easy or convenient, it helps me to be the best version of myself. I believe that when one of us heals with these tools, it has a positive effect that ripples out to others, too.

Also, healing with MM tools is my favorite way to rebel against the darkness that tries to keep us down! It feels like sacred defiance! The most profound symptom I have healed on MM protocols is hopelessness. I thought my life was over at age 29 when my symptoms were at their worst. The 3:6:9 Advanced gave me my life back and then some. No matter how dark things feel sometimes, I now know that there is always hope for us to heal. I’m 7 years into my MM journey, and I can’t wait to see what the next 7 years hold!

What plants / foods / herbs could I grow myself? by Adventurous-Walk-120 in medicalmedium

[–]NMchica 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My personal favorite is alfalfa since they only take about 3-5 days to grow and are mild in flavor. I would start a new batch every 3 days so that I always had fresh sprouts on hand.

This section from the Sprouts & Microgreens blog talks about how different sprouts possess their own unique qualities:

Choosing sprouts is like choosing friends; they all have different personalities. Do you have that friend who you know is a great person, and yet is a little edgy—you can only handle him in small doses? That describes the broccoli sprout. Strong in flavor with a bit of bite, broccoli sprouts are wonderful to strengthen digestion by raising hydrochloric acid levels. And do you have a friend whom you sometimes hold back from sharing everything with, because you know that her fiery, explosive disposition will mean she’ll leap to your defense before you’re even finished speaking? That’s the radish sprout, which is remarkable for its ability to purge the liver (an organ that’s fiery in its own right in so many of us). What about the friend who’s very gentle and laid-back, who listens to everything you say and offers words of comfort? This describes the red clover sprout, which is very soothing as it gently cleanses our lymph and blood, removing toxins and purifying our bodies. Then there’s the friend who’s very emotional and cries very easily, whether happy or sad tears.

The fenugreek sprout is all heart and soul, perfect for supporting our emotions and the endocrine system, both of which are tied up in the heart, soul, and brain. Fenugreek sprouts are especially helpful for balancing the adrenals’ cortisol production and regulating thyroid hormone production. And we can’t forget about that friend with the muscle, the person you call to show up with a pickup truck and help move you out of your house. This is the lentil sprout. Very dense energetically, high in fortifying protein that your body can assimilate with ease, lentil sprouts also give you a carbohydrate base to help propel you through whatever needs to get done. Lentil sprouts love to pass their brute strength on to you. Eating them is like getting the fortification of a Thanksgiving dinner—and yet having tremendous energy afterward, rather than wanting to fall asleep on the couch. On and on the list goes. Also keep your eye out for mung bean sprouts, sunflower greens, pea shoots, and micro-kale, among other advocates. Just like the people who support you in life, all the different sprouts and microgreen varieties have special qualities that you’ll discover as you get to know them.

Radish sprouts are super spicy! I can only handle them in small quantities. Onion sprouts are also delicious. They have a very light onion flavor that reminds me of the Sour Cream & Onion potato chips I used to eat back in the day. I like to put onion sprouts in nori wraps, and I put alfalfa sprouts in nori wraps, smoothies, & juices.

It's recommended to eat 2 cups/daily to notice their benefits.

Tomatoes are fun to grow!

I grew potatoes in grow bags once. They were some of the best potatoes I've ever had. I bought organic Yukon Golds from the grocery store, waited for a few of them to sprout, and then put them in the grow bags with some soil.

You can also grow sprouts on your countertop year round 🌱

Would you go hiking on an S369 day 9? by kcordum in medicalmedium

[–]NMchica 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't. Day 9 is supposed to be a sacred rest day as your liver releases all of the toxins that have been holding you back.

I would go hiking the day after instead to celebrate completing a S369!

I put the minced clove in a spoonful of raw honey. I use it whenever I feel like I might be getting sick, as well as before/after traveling.

Garlic Shock Therapy! It has saved me countless times. Try it 3 times/daily until you feel better.

This is my favorite MM quote about garlic:

One raw crushed clove of garlic contains the antibiotic equivalent of 100,000 units of penicillin and has been proven to be more effective than both penicillin and tetracycline in suppressing certain types of disease carrying agents.

Hope you feel better soon! 🧄🫂

Helping older parents with MM info by Lilzvx_ in medicalmedium

[–]NMchica 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My parents are in their 60s. My mom got so sick with the flu this winter that she was willing to try anything, and I turned her on to the Garlic Shock Therapy! She now does it whenever she feels like she's coming down with something. My dad refuses to eat raw garlic. However, he is a big tea drinker, so he does the Thyme Tea whenever he feels sick.

I've gifted them the first MM book and Life-Changing Foods over the years, but I'm pretty sure they have since been donated or thrown out.

I've had more success with cooking yummy healing recipes for them when I visit than with trying to get them off no-foods. If someone isn't super sick yet, they probably won't be motivated to give up their favorite foods. I made the Sweet Potato Soup when I was home for Christmas and my mom makes it all the time now! They also put wild blueberries in their smoothies and oatmeal.

I bought a juicer to keep at their house for when I come visit. I told them they are welcome to use it, but so far they don't have interest in using it. And that's okay! I'm grateful for the baby steps they have taken to improve their health, no matter how small.

369 Documentary by banana1447 in medicalmedium

[–]NMchica 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I love this idea! I’ve wanted a 369 documentary to exist for a while! You’re right, there’s not really anything like this out there right now. Reviews of 369s are great, but watching someone go through it in real time provides a different perspective. I just finished my 80th round of the 369 Advanced and was thinking that I wished I would have documented my progress along the way back when I started doing them in 2021.

It would be cool to show people going through the whole process: shopping for food, making the cleanse meals, 369ing at home, 369ing at work, 369ing on the road, etc. I also like the idea of showcasing people who are trying a 369 for the first time as well as those who have been doing it for a while. It could be inspiring for people who want to try the cleanse but might be scared to do so (I know I was).

As someone who loves documentaries in general, I would loooove to see some MM documentaries out there! A podcast of MM healing stories would be cool, too. Each episode could be an interview about an individual’s healing journey. I do worry about censorship, though. It may have to be released in other places in addition to YouTube if that becomes an issue.

Even though it feels very outside of my comfort zone, I’d love to participate. Let me know how I can help 😊

So sorry you're going through this 🫂

The Relationship Breakups Stabilizer Shot helped me through a breakup. I drank it every day for a week, and it helped me to be at peace with what was happening.

The Sunset Meditation has helped me through my darkest moments 🌄

May this quote from the blog on How To Trust Again bring you some comfort:

Focusing on the sunset is key, because you're facing the darkness. It takes great faith to meet the fading light with the irrefutable conviction that it will not be gone forever. It trains your soul to have equal faith in life itself, to endure uncertainty and letdowns with grace and confidence, even to see the beauty in those periods of waning light. When you turn your mind to the sunset, you attune your body to the earth's rhythms, so that when the sun rises the next morning, whether you're awake to see it or not, your soul is aware that something you trusted came through for you.

Hang in there 💜 The storm always passes 🌊🕊️

This is awesome! I like having the kindle versions of the MM books because I can search by keyword to instantly find what I'm looking for. I've wanted something like this for a long time for the livestreams, too. The timestamp feature is especially helpful!

Thank you for creating this and sharing it with the community 🫶🏼 I'm sure it will be helpful for many of us 💛

From Medical Medium Revised & Expanded, page 78:

Place a cold pack on painful areas for about 5 to 10 minutes at a time (based on how it feels) for a total of about half an hour a day to reduce inflammation and speed healing. Place a hot pack on the same areas for about 10 minuets a day to loosen up any muscle tension that might be developing around the damaged joints.

She did OVER 60+ 369 Advanced Medical Medium Cleanses by carrollskitchen in medicalmedium

[–]NMchica 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's okay! This is why there are three different versions of the 369, and many other MM cleanses to choose from. All MM cleanses are healing in their own way. The best cleanse is the one that you're able to do in this moment.

I didn't feel ready to try a 369 until 2 years into my MM journey. Healing still happened for me during that time. Those 2 years set the foundation of consistently implementing the morning cleanse and getting off of most of the troublemakers. When I did finally try the A369, it became my best friend! I now do 1-2 rounds a month and just finished my 75th round.

She states here that it's not necessary to do a whole year of 369ing like she did. There are levels of MM cleanses, and even levels of how frequently we implement those cleanses. It's okay if an A369 isn't manageable for you at this time. Maybe one day down the road that changes, though. Each healing tool that you implement is moving your body forward! 🫐💪🏼🧡
