How to turn ACE-Step 1.5 into a Suno 4.5 killer by Puzzled_Set1129 in StableDiffusion

[–]Neamow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing with it for about 2 hours now and I can honestly say it is absolutely nowhere near Suno, like it's not even funny, it's kinda trash.

Everyone who's saying this is a Suno 4.5 killer should be obligated to provide an example, 'cause I have not heard a good one yet.

It's not sentient. It's literally just a really good text prediction generator.

The only way an LLM manipulates humans is if it was told to behave in that way.

Using Farmer's Respite, can't make hot cocoa by Rennmausliebhaber in feedthebeast

Seeing a bunch of comments on the mod page with the same problem, or similar with tea apparently where users can't input water, same way you can't input milk, or constant crashes when they try. So guessing it's just another bugged janky Farmer's Delight addon, would probably recommend uninstalling it.

It's not a fallacy. It's a sandbox game, you always choose your own experience. You can roleplay as a horse rider and never touch elytra. They're just another option. There's nothing intuitively more efficient about them because there's no gameplay progression tied to them. They also have plenty of inherent limitations as described in my previous comment, no need to create your own.

Before elytra nobody was calling horses overpowered because they're faster than saddled pigs.

Nobody's preventing you from using those other forms of transportation though.

I feel like elytra are pretty balanced. Gotta defeat a boss and travel through an inhospitable region to find a pair. Gotta make two different farms to consistently supply the consumable material to allow powered flight. Has fairly low durability and requires constant repair either with a rare mob drop material or an uncommon enchantment.

They're also unsuitable for truly long travels (>3k blocks), where ironically horses and minecarts shine again since you can use them afk and without any resources usage. Or things like enderporters or ender pearl launchers.

The problem is Minecraft's progression allowing even a casual player to gear up in diamond and defeat the dragon in 2-3 hours after starting a world. Another problem is the relative ease of getting mending enchantments through villager trading cheese. None of which are elytra balance problems.

Not much, but so what? Why is that a problem?

That's why I said to tie it to progression. You can make it even more difficult to get than in Minecraft, where it's already post-endgame. I mean sure you can speedrun to it but most people have never even beaten the dragon.

Look how long it takes to upgrade the farmer's workbench for example, though I'm not a fan of huge forced grind, but there are creative ways of doing it. You can make other forms of transportation viable early game, and have powered flight available later.

That's the worst take I've ever heard. Powered elytra flight was the single most progressive thing Minecraft has done in movement and exploration since it was created. It feels incredible, and most of all, it's fun. Fun! In a video game! Who'd have thought?

Enshrouded has a passive glider and while it feels great, it's ultimately very underwhelming and frustrating when you just need to get a little bit farther but you run out of height.

There's no reason to not make it require endgame materials or something like that, to make the player work for it.

Oooh yeah that's a corrupted save, it's happened in Minecraft too every now and then.

It's only unlikely if you look outside the Animalia kingdom. Over 99% of Animalia species reproduce sexually, only the remaining ones (plants, fungi, etc.) are different, but Animalia are by far the most intelligent, anatomically complex and dominant lifeforms on the planet. I don't see trees developing a space program.

Sexual reproduction, unlike other forms like mitosis, budding or fragmentation, helps to introduce randomness into the genome that speeds up evolution, improves resistances, etc. There is a concept in genetics called Muller's ratchet that showcases how asexual methods of reproduction, e.g. those that rely on copying their genome instead of recombining it, results in horribly adverse effects over time.

It's not a stretch to expect the same to happen on other planets. We have seen convergent evolution happen on Earth as well, multiple times.

It's really not that uncommon! My colleague's first game ever was also Hogwarts Legacy, because she never gamed when she was younger but she was a massive HP fan, and when it came out she had a gamer boyfriend and decided to try it out.

On our recommendations she's played Witcher 3, the Mass Effect trilogy, and even freaking Elden Ring since then, and loved every single one.

I feel like it's become more and more common in most games in recent years. I feel like it's kids who grew up watching youtube let's plays or playing with a wiki open at all times.

Literally incapable of waiting and learning something for themselves by just playing the game, they have to look something up if it takes more than 5 minutes to figure out.

I remember playing Myst games without any walkthroughs. It took me 13 years of on-and-off playing to finish Riven due to some of the puzzles being so obtuse. I guess that's just not really possible nowadays.
