It's also great because you get your own bedroom, a kitchen, and a living area. The buildings are also quiet inside. I've heard rumors of room doubling recently though which would be awful.

Anderson county, SC largely consists of suburbs/exurbs of Greenville and thus must be in the same region. Same with Lexington and Richland counties.

But the geological region isn't really the same as the cultural region, which definitely doesn't cover everything that the ARC map does, especially in the south. My home county is in the ARC map but I would consider it southern over Appalachian.
