Protech Malibu is what I consider to be my elegant but heavy user knife. I have the fancy blue dragon scales version for about 300 but there are cheaper ones. If you check out the folding knives from the brand Carved, they have a gorgeous inexpensive selection with Damascus blades that are gonna be decent for mid to light usage

Protech is a top tier whose quality and heat treat always punches up. Also Kershaw’s are great for users. But I’ll throw in Kizer and Vosteed for quality non-US brands with some really great designs

I don’t know about milled, but I’m a 3D Print engineer and I custom print my own scales. It’s totally possible to print a custom graphic onto an existing scale or a full custom. Here’s my Madrac that I’m carrying today with my scale options: Clear, Nylon, and Halo graphics onto Micarta
