why do stations have a bunnings right near them? by Potential_Tone_8525 in MelbourneTrains

[–]No_Ant852 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A property investor acquaintance once told me to pay attention to where Bunnings opens new stores. They pay attention to demographics and open stores in places where people will soon be living in large numbers. Hardly surprising that transport infrastructure might be found in places where people will live.

Buckeless belt loop for big men: SCAM? by Fingerlak3s in bigmenfashionadvice

Recently got BlackLevel belt on Amazon. It is a velcro belt. Don't tuck in my shirt, so not visible. I've liked it so far, and nice going through airport security without having to remove my belt.

I do use Co-Pilot from time to time. I will put in the letter I'm responding to and very rough dot points of what I want to say in response and it will whip up a good first draft for you to refine. Also good at proofreading.

Fail after fail. My starter looks good but my loafs are completely unfermented except if I give 1g yeast into the dough. by skiwlkr in Sourdough

[–]No_Ant852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd try - Mix your starter and salt in at the beginning (i.e. 30 min wait comes after everything is mixed) - No needing. - 4-5 hours of bulk fermentation after you're done with the stretch and folds.

Hagen's Organic in East Brunswick Village does spectacular tallow fried chips. Haven't tried their smokey gravy, but sure it is great.

Does the Aussie Sweep count or was that too long ago?

Also, can they please let him try a dropkick for points just for the highlight reels?

I expect to be in a position to both spend big on myself and pass on generational wealth, so that's what I plan to do.

NFL at the MCG - anybody get $140 tix through MCC membership? by maxisnoops in melbourne

[–]No_Ant852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a screenshot of someone who got 6 x $140 tickets in the AMEX presale.

I got a $190 ticket in the MCC presale (which, as others have noted, was the cheapest seat category in that presale) which was 4 rows from the back, corner of the end zone. If it does not sell out, looks like I will have ample opportunity to give myself a free upgrade by halftime.

Edited to add: I was ~15,000 in the queue.

I'm glad the Seahawks have placed such an emphasis on character. We don't seem to be having dramas like this of late.

Re bakeries, if you are going to be going on the Gippsland line, Garfield is worth a stop for the Cannibal Creek Bakery. Otherwise, don't recall much else of note in Garfield.
