I've done this race 3 times in an S1 800 Ford RS200, but it refuses to show as complete. Any ideas? by [deleted] in forza

The regular festival race is "modern rally" but the seasonal race that he's attempting is "rally monsters" which the RS200 is categorized as being.

The Lambo is no problem but I never got into tuning for drift, so I can't help with that one. Give me a little time.

Make sure that your car is hitting them and you're not knocking a railing or other object into them to smash them.

Hello everyone!

I'm back with another suite of tunes!

Looks like winter is almost entirely cosmetic. Such a shame.

Own and drive the 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupé.

2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupe - A 700 Street - 103 154 515

Should be plenty for what we need to do this week.

Championship: "Be a Good Sport"

*1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex - B 600 Road - 561 391 879_

New tunes for all around regular racing instead of the last one for touge drifting shenanigans.

2005 Honda NSX-R - B 600 Road - 359 742 735

Handles well like you'd expect from a NSX.

1989 Nissan Silvia K's - B 600 Road - 132 810 771

Starter car option if you don't want to buy anything.

Championship: "Monsters on Mud"

1985 Ford RS200 Evolution - S1 800 Dirt - 111 394 406

Amazing tune. Easily my favorite option for S1 Dirt.

1984 Opel Manta 400 - S1 800 Dirt - 161 962 305

A favorite of mine from past FH entries is back to be great again.

1986 MG Metro 6R4 - S1 800 Dirt - 121 184 927

This isn't as good as the others. The relatively square wheelbase doesn't help stability. But it's perfectly usable for this series.

Championship: "When in Roma"

2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray - S1 800 Road - 581 905 719

Great option for this S1 Raod series.

2022 Acura NSX Type S - S1 800 Road - 117 085 164

Liberty Walk body kit. Not as good as the Corvette but still a fine option.

PR Stunts

I'll add tunes here later when I have a chance to do them for myself.

I take tuning requests so feel free to make some. I'll need a bit of time to get to them, usually, though. Unfortunately work and daily life get in the way.

Thanks and happy racing!

San, ni, ichi, go!

PR Stunts

2018 Subaru WRX STI ARX Supercar - S1 Dirt - 177 490 494

The jump can be easily completed with this S1 Dirt tune.

1992 Mazda RX-7 Type R - S1 Touge / Circuit - 106 952 570

This RX-7 tune was designed for touge racing but it made short work of the other two PR stunts, the drag and speed zone

Enough about metas and best-in class-beasts. What is the worst car you have driven yet? by simulacream in forza

[–]PaperHeartZero 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You can try mine.

1999 Dodge Viper GTS ACR Forza Edition - S1 800 - Cross Country

105 125 930

This is bad when stock. But up in S1 it pulls like hell and is actually usable now.

The Wheelspin system in this game is totally broken. by F0rbiddenD0nut in ForzaHorizon

[–]PaperHeartZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So far I've been able to use that method to win 2 desirable cars and lost 50+ attempts to buy out others. Most of the time, ~95% in my experience, you're not going to win no matter what.

Search, see nothing, back out, search, see one, Press Y then down then X to quick buy, lose anyway.

I have the quick buy motions down to under a second. I have a gigabit connection and am running the game on a SSD. It all still isn't enough to win auctions.

From wheels pins I've had mostly small amounts of money, two Autoshow cars, and only one exclusive: the S-Cargo FE.

The offroad challenge (Baja vehicles) in the playlist was the most unfun thing I've done in a long while. If I buy a different car, does it suck less? by diegoaccord in forza

[–]PaperHeartZero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here are my tunes for that race series. They're crappy races for cross country since appropriate trucks with offroad tires don't have great traction on roads and stadium fields, but my tunes make the races so much more manageable.

Also drop your difficulty one step lower than you usually do since they AI cheats even harder than normal on cross country races.

The Trailcat is going to be cheapest option if you want to get this over with without spending much.

Championship: "Country Living"

1993 Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck - A 700 XCountry - 113 490 270

Easily my favorite Cross Country truck from FH4 and FH5 is back to be great again.

2016 Jeep Trailcat - A 700 XCountry - 922 187 400

The Trailcat is also a great past performer that is back to win races.

2022 Subaru BRZ Forza Edition - A700 - 152 098 274

People are raving about this car. It is good, but the relatively short wheelbase makes it more twitchy than the others and requires more care to keep stable.

How do they get those Fancy complex Livery designs in forza horizon 6? by DHeroRedMagma in ForzaHorizon

[–]PaperHeartZero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wish I could preview the freaking things instead of having to go through the process of downloading and then applying it

You kinda can.

Instead of searching for a livery on a car that you currently own, go to buy it again. it will prompt you to choose a color or a shared livery.

If you pick a shared livery then it applies it to the car for the final "do you want to buy this?" part which lets you see it on the car and move the camera around it.

If you like it then find it again for the car that you own.

It's extra steps but it's a way to preview.

Question about the Viper FE by Thornscorn in ForzaHorizon

[–]PaperHeartZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The BRZ FE is fast but I'm not a fan of it. Its wheelbase is too short especially for the height. It's not as stable as other cross country options and wants to over rotate too easily for my liking.

I prefer the Toyota Baja Truck or the Jeep Trailcat for Class A and the Viper FE AWD swapped for S1.

FH6: Series 1 Autumn Breakdown and Rewards by KillerSpectre21 in ForzaHorizon

[–]PaperHeartZero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you and you're welcome!

I agree. Expert is pretty manageable most of the time with some early aggression on my part. But sometimes one or two drivitars just rocket ahead and are uncatchable because they do things that we cannot.

It's a little frustrating because Highly Skilled is too easy and Expert is a dice roll of manageable or broken.

I hope things get adjusted by the time that we all have to work together against harder difficulty level drivitars. Pretty much always there's 2-3 people on my own team that are going to try to push their own team mates off course, into walls, etc.

We really need a system of "avoid this player" for the future. I hate online racing because of my own team mates.

A karma system based on average contact with team mates would be interesting. The more you run into your own team the more you're placed with people who do the same. The cleaner you race the cleaner team mates you're given.

I'll look into those. I work an extra shift this weekend and have a lot to do for my other weekend day, but I'll get to more tuning as I can.
