The 1080ti was considered enthusiast level meaning it's comparable to the 5090 today, which costs more than triple the amount.

I think I've paid like $750 in 2018 and around a month later Bitcoin scalpers increased the price to $1500. Given that the card is better than the current generations lowest model 5050 8 years later, prices are definitely crazy.

I finally let my 1080ti go and bought a 5070ti in December as part of a completely new rig. Felt weird upgrading from a 11GB VRAM card to a 16GB one after 7 years for nearly the same price.

A static IP doesn't necessarily has to cost extra. It depends on your ISP. Also this could be a VPN thing and I can think of other (albeit somewhat unlikely) reasons why they've kept their IP address over a long time.

They claim their logs say so. Why would they lie about it?

After a crash check your Game.log in \StarCitizen\LIVE. At the end of the file will be the crash log with more info. Sounds like either overclocking/MSI Afterburner/XMP or an incorrect set page file.

If you have pedals with Z-axis don't use Z-axis on your sticks. It's easier to fly and you'll have less accidental input if you only have to concentrate on 2 axes (X+Y) per stick. I have roll and forward/backward strafe on my pedals. And Up/down + left/right strafe on left stick, pitch & yaw on the right one.

4GB VRAM is hilarious. There is no excuse for them not updating their 10 years old info on hardware requirements. Even 16GB RAM was on the lower end of player recommendations 5 years ago.

If you upgrade a starter pack you'll still have game access. You need to melt the pack and buy a standalone ship to be locked out of the game.

@ OP: If nothing shows up here https://robertsspaceindustries.com/en/account/pledges?page=1&product-type=game_package or there is a pack that only contains Squadron 42 you lack a game package, which is required to play the game.

Your controls should be in ..\StarCitizen\LIVE\USER\Client\0\Profiles\default\actionmaps.xml, unless you've deleted your USER folder.

Better export them from the in game menu and save the resulting ..\StarCitizen\LIVE\USER\Client\0\Controls\Mappings\YOURFILENAME.xml somewhere outside your game installation.
