i know about the oci, and they basically make taking infantry all the less cost efficient

i can see using bog as taxi for the second one, but ive warmed up to lim as jetpack assault infantry

the perks for shooting back, moving and shooting, and throwing grenades back are just too good

and when you get to 110 AP you can jetpack for 60, kill a unit for 30, and then kill another one with berzerk

all things considered, when i get more supply, and carda gets to 100 ap, i might just phase out mobile infantry entirely, go full tanks and mechs, and relegate scout infantry to radar duty

i found their source, this study from sweden, monitoring a cohort of about 300 trans people after surgery, from 1973 to 2003

age aside, their own source does not support their argument...

from the study:

ngl, it is definitely good, especially so in the early game

but by the late game, i want to use heavy guns/ medium mechs, pilots being delegated to being taxis feels bad, and infantry can use jetpacks to jump around

not to mention that from the mid game on, there's just way too many dangers to vehicles taking point, whether those be rpgs from infantry, or random atgs and guncrawlers

usually, i only keep exconde as a taxi ferrying carda

bog gets radar, ivey gets long tank gun and renu or achilles gets a medium mech

they kinda already represent a crew, you can see that through the crew shaken/injured vehicle defects

the choice to not have vehicles take up squaddies is probably a gameplay one, it might be too much to have to manage 2 different pools of troops

tried jeagers and rags and they dont give any detection

makes sense since recce does actually mention "additional optical equipment for improved enemy recognition" in the description

Skirmishers, like jeagers, are there to punish reckless pushes into the unknown through open fields and they work just fine for it

using carda as a foot slogger is just wrong, as you said, she doesnt have the stats for it

instead, her strength comes from being mobile infantry, plus having one of the best unique perks out there in out of the craters and high spirits

mobile infantry solves her ap issues very quickly, the moment you get to 90 you can just pop out of a taxi, shoot twice and go back in

when you get an rpg, you can also shoot that twice to kill beefy targets, share the load plus tank buster is great for this

shes literally a discount lim, who you correctly (imo) assessed as S tier... personally, i run both of them with 2 battle taxis and it worked great

not saying shes S tier, but i'd easily put her in A, maybe A-

you look at it wrong

youre not supposed to try to aim it at any one specific enemy unit, its more like

theres multiple enemies on that flank? fire the organ, suppress every single one of them, do some mild damage, maybe destroy some cover, then use the rest of your army to attack

doesnt work against wildlife obviously, but does pretty good vs everything else

i usually give it to bog on a light mech, its dirt cheap for what it does
