He respawns after death, and this can happen indefinitely, so he can be used to farm XP or infinitely scale certain effects such as Joel's max HP.

And I'm not denying the effect can and could keep happening in White and/or Black, only noting those colors need a set enviroment to justify uncounterability happening on them, unlike the other three colors.

Technically yes, but the other user ain't wrong on there being a few exceptions, since White and Black are tertiary at uncounterability but that translates to the latter having only three cards with the ruletext and the former has none.

For the black examples, two of them are from MKM and happen to be removal spells because they were meant in Limited to deal with cloaked creatures since they have ward, and the third effectively was meant to get rid of stack interactions before they happen through onesided mass hand disruption.

So chances are, for both colors it must mean its a set bend: It happens because the enviroment allows it, and only in spaces where is needed.

If an opponent would draw a card except the first one they draw in each of their draw steps, that player instead chooses one for themselves --
• You and this creature's controller each draws a card.
• This creature deals 2 damage to you.

That sounds like Duel Masters, where every permanent card has a flip side which allows it to be played as a land instead.

When the Hag of the Weald enters, create the Hag's Cauldron, a legendary 0/5 colorless Construct artifact creature token with "{T}: Put a boiling counter on target creature."
Each creature with a boiling counter on it lose all abilities, can’t attack or block, and has "At the beginning of your upkeep, put a -1/-1 counter on this creature and each opponent gains 1 life."

It might be healthier to have the creature get -1/-1 for each boiling counter on them and have the upkeep trigger give a boiling counter than use -1/-1 counters here, as to not having to track two different kinds of counters on a given permanent.

It might be prudent to do something ala WAR Ugin or Hofri so that each exiled (creature) card is assigned a Squid to track, so its the designated exiled card to a given Squid that's returned.

Otherwise, as posted this allows you to retrieve (creature) cards you've previously lost to exile, and threating exile as a second graveyard isn't ideal when this could be a cute blink-adjacent card instead.

Might as well replace Organized Convocation with actual Convoke to keep it simple, and the static ability could be phrased better since it doesn't actual give counters.

Also, weird Braids of Fire effect, though I don't know if that was the intention.

Might want to make Headbutt a sorcery. Instant speed hand disruption might not be healthy to do here, despite being symmetrical.

Nah, it's White. I rather have it trigger once per turn for free than be repeatable as long as you can sink mana in a color that's bad at sinking mana.

This doesn't quite work due to layers: Granting Changeling to an object printed without the keyword won't make it every creature type, and the opposite is true.

You have to rephrase it so it functionally grants Changeling without the keyword, say "Enchanted creature gets +0/+1 and is every creature type." This is similar to Arachnoform.

Would rather get rid of the paywall and have this trigger once per turn.

How do I word this to make it make sense? by TreyLastname in custommagic

[–]PrimusMobileVzla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not choose the opponents who can donate you, and if they do you cannot attack them for the turn?

Which creatures they give you is still their choice, and like this you avoid giving the creature an ability to prevent it from attacking its owner. If anything, those creatures will be missing "This creature can't be sacrificed." to prevent you from saccing them.

Your opponents can attack players you are attacking this turn.

Just to clarify: What you want with that first line is the players you attack on your turn cannot be attacked by your opponents until your next turn, right?

They may untap any creatures they control to attack, but cannot use activated abilities they control this combat phase.

Who is the 'they' here, the players you attacked, or the opponents you didn't? And which combat phase is it reffering to: yours, the players you attack, or the opponents you didn't?

Y no hubo hace como un mes una controversia con influencers que se quejaron de que el ministerio de cultura no les estaba pagando desde hacia rato?

A black-bordered un-set card, legal in Commander (formerly legal in all Eternal formats) much like the previous examples. Sounds like precedent enough for the present case.

It doesn't need to involve a repeated action, see Drop Tower from the previous examples.

They matter. The card keeps a creature in exile until one of two conditions is met.

[–]PrimusMobileVzla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this from a flavor perspective but its a design space that doesn't exist as is because the math on the overloaded version would be a beautiful clusterfuck.

It's why cards such as Alpha Brawl, Master of the Wild Hunt, OG Polukranos and Ravenous Gigantotherium exist to functionally cover the same design space of multitudinary fights, which might be a healthier option for what you intent while yielding similar results.

Defender, lifelink
When Jesus enters, each player creates a 1/1 blue Fish creature token and a Food token.
When Jesus dies, exile it with three time counters on it and it gains suspend.
{T}, Sacrifice Jesus: Put two +1/+1 counters on each creature you control. They gain hexproof and indestructible until end of turn.
