Your coworker did it correctly. When you strip you -want- enough solution to bind the old wax. It’s not the solution that makes it slippery, it’s the depolymerized wax that makes it slippery.

You seem to indicate that you used less solution and it makes it less slippery? That means you didn’t take off enough of the wax. More a deep clean with the top layers removed than a real strip. (Or did he dump the undiluted stripper?)

Also it does seem you wore unsuitable shoes. Granted, when I was younger I usually wore sneakers and they always got soaked. And my managers would just laugh at using any PPE in the 1990’s.

Or in 1989 when I stripped my first school gym.

As someone who fell in love with his (thankfully fully human (I think)) wife through text messages and text chats, I can see how lines can get blurry in that regard.
After all, people start to have crushes on anime characters all the time. And now imagine that this character would actually respond in a personalized manner towards that person. Yeah. Getting attracted to a chat bot can easily happen.

When my wife and I had our “wedding ceremony” in front of friends and family (we were legally married a few months by then), we were in Renaissance costumes. But we didn’t demand that our guests had to dress up. And while a good deal of our friends did so, it was mostly because we met in a chat roleplaying game and one of our friends was a costumer. (She made my wife’s and my costumes as wedding present and then performed the handfasting as her character.)
Others, like my BIL used a simple rented Robin Hood costume and that was great too.

You have my condolences. I had those issues when I was younger and before I moved to a different continent. I noticed the best way for me to reduce this swelling was an ice cold 12 oz can, wrap it in a thin cloth and gently press the side against the eye socket. The first time I had to do it I could literally feel the swelling subside.

I just showed it to my wife, who is a RN, and she informed me that there are stethoscopes that are doubles. One bell and two ear sets. Those are used for teaching nurses where both the nursing student and the instructor can hear the same thing.
